Hi Carmen,
You mentioned your camera and Pad did connect before but cannot do so now. There are probably various reasons you are experiencing this dilemma now. Some examples are:
1. An up-grade of the OS on either of your gadgets
2. Installation of a third-party application on your Pad
3 Configurations/ settings on both or one of your device
4. some minor wear and tear on your accessories for connection

check those four first to make sure they are restored to their original state and try connecting. If problem persist, try to narrow down your question with some details and post it as comments for further help.

You can order any needed accessories from Sony at
http://www.sony.com/accessories

If you need a manual, you can download one from
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=DSCP72

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Windows Photo Gallery or any third-party photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

I have Fujifilm FinePix A360, and I couldn't find where to put the paper. I tried several different places, but none of them seemed to work. I have the same problem...the green light goes on, then immediately goes back off. The screen begins to turn on, and then turns off. Any help with explaining the aforesaid solution, or any other way that I could try?

Won't snap picture

I haven't seen a shutter button get worn out before. Are you sure that something (like coke) was spilled on it? If so maybe you could clean it contacts

Reducing noise for DSC-P72

Rendrat: I just got a P72 and am wondering what settings you are using. Are you using Auto ISO? If so, the ISO will increase to 250+ with the flash and any significant zoom. It's a pretty weak flash and increasing the ISO is the only way to get sufficient range. You will definitely notice the noise at ISO 250.

Hoary zone in my shot with dsc-p72

looks like there might be a spot or smudge on the lens. Try cleaning it even if you don't see anything. I had the same prob with my sister-in-laws' p72. All pictures in daylight had a glare. I told her to let me check it out and the first thing I saw was the lens was filthy. Hopefully this solves your problem.

Faulty Memory Stick

See if you can download the photos through the USB cable. Then try reformatting it in the camera. Otherwise, I probably would get rid of it. Memory is cheap enough, and it's not worth the risk to keep around an unreliable memory card.
