Why is the tray always filled with grounds after brewingg a cup
SOURCE: Whenever I brew a cup excess water and ground
HI
Its normal to relieve some water (half to 1 oz.) and coffee, but excess is caused by having the small knob in the bean hopper set to the minus side. Twist the knob towards the plus side but not all the way, as this can cause an over charge and dump dry grounds in the dredge drawer and not make coffee at all. Another cause is your grounds are too coarse. If this is the case, when the grinder is running twist the big knob in the bean hopper to a smaller # but only do 2 #'s at a time and then make at least 4 coffees before making the next change. You can get the grinds too fine and have an other problem.

HI
You have a stripped thumb screw. It needs to be replaced. It holds the filter screen in.

Clean the coffee filling container and insert bit fine grinned coffee beans directly then see. This problem is faced by many other saeco coffee machine users .Try this.Grind the coffee beans separately in a mixer, grind it very fine. Then insert/ fill the coffee fill container with fine grinned
coffee bean powder. Then see, if you get same error. If you still get error then the coffee machine needs servicing, the coffee is not entering the machine. Its getting clogged in the drawer. But if it works with coffee grinned separately then its grinder problem, its not grinding the coffee fine.------
This will help you to confirm the problem. Is it grinder problem or the machine needs servicing.-
