My gallery icon has disappeared how do i get it back

In the default camera app the Switch Camera icon appears on the right (portrait) or top (landscape) of the screen. In my version of Android it looks like a camera over an arrow disc, but in older versions looks like an old style camera with a circular arrow where the lens would be. Tap it and your view should toggle between front and back

Hi If you've recently put a password lock on your phone or security lock then "TEMPORARILY" remove it, I hope this helps........CHEERS..

The icon comes back doesn't it?I have been tapping icons on my iPhone. When I tap the icon disappears and it opens so you can work in it. When I finish I push the home button and the icon is in place. I tried the weather channel and Audible.

Go to the list of apps, and select Gallery icon and drag it on to the desktop.

My list of apps is a circle with six dots in it.

They may be elsewhere on your hd.
Try doing a search IMG to see what comes to light. I hope you can find them.

import or drag them to the gallery icon

yes just left click where your icons were then selectpersonalize

This seems to be an old post, anyway go into system preferences From the apple logo (top left) and check your DOCK settings.

To add the hard disk icon back onto your desktop, first click the "Finder" button in the dock. It is the dark and light smily face icon at the end of the dock.

Next, click the "Finder" menu item at the top of the screen and then "Preferences". In the "Finder Preferences" window that opens, click the "General" button. From there you can select what system items appear on your desktop. You can click "Hard disks" to re-add the hard disk icon.

ok sometimes this happen and the bottom bar of the screen disappears with the destop icons so go to task manager by clicking Ctrl+Alt+Delete and click on 'New Task' and type in 'explorer.exe' and it should come up. You should do this everytime when you start your computer if the icon disappears everytime.
