Factory reset the Kindle then when setting it up use your amazon account.

If you don't know the pattern which is the same thing as a PIN then you must do a factory reset, unfortunately you will lose all stored data on the computer.

If you purchased it new, return it to the vendor where you bought it. It should still be under warranty.

A triangle with an ! in it usually means that it's operating system has been rooted. Is it second hand if so the previous owner has been playing around with it and the warranty is void.It can be wiped and reinstalled, but you need to know what you are doing, there are instructions and videos on u tube showing how it's done.

try to update Andriod version on that tablet AND Use the built in YouTube app to search for videos.

also check the compaQ menu that is the hardware toggle to turn wireless on and off. there is no function keys like most laptops.

near where the power button is there is a button labeled Q. which will bring up a settings menu like an on scree display and that is where you toggle wireless hardware support on or off
