It is helpful to post device (or vehicle), brand, model, and sometimes year when posting a question. For instance, this question was posted in cars and trucks. But as code numbers are sometimes by sheer coincidence shared with other devices, this number is the code for an error related to a spa: Intex Pure Spa E96 slow reset solution
E96 means it is experiencing a system error. If the control panel displays this error, turn off the system and unplug it. Plug the unit back in and restart it. If the error persists, turn it off and unplug it. After unplugging it, unscrew the B and C connection until water starts to leak out. Do not unscrew them to the point that they come off of the tub as you can lose all the water in the tub. Loosening them until the leak will release any air from the control base. Tighten the connections and restart the unit. Also you can try replacing your filters, sometimes it's just an easy fix like that also!
You need to replace the battery. It will most likely be a coin sized battery in a slip in holder on the main board. If you need help, here is ROland Customer Service contact info- Support Roland
After that, you can reset the E96 back to the factory settings by following the directions here- Roland 96 Initializing the 70 86 96 Restoring the Factory Settings...
I do not know what that error code is however I can tell you most of those kinds of spa take around 24 hours to heat up.
What model name of Intex Spa do you have?
