I can not connect to internet, i called my internet provider but they told me to call dlink

ahhh, dlink pretty sums up the problem in my opinion. despite my opinion it might be a hardware issue. if you are trying to connect to wireless get the latest wireless driver software from your laptop/desktop company website. for wire connection update the Ethernet port driver/software. good luck!! hope this helped!

Re-install the wireless card driver.
You can download any/all the Windows XP or Vista device drivers for your model laptop from the Toshiba WEB site from their download page. Make sure you enter the model of your laptop so you can get the correct drivers. Use this link: -

Wireless not working

Did you disable the wireless card through the BIOS? Sometimes the wireless card can be accidentally turned off through one of the HP Wireless Assistant which will keep it from turning Blue when you press it

Wireless connection

I had sortof the same problem with my hpdv8000 pavilion laptop..I ended up calling the phone company that I have my DSL with and trouble shooting with them the connection. I had to get rid of one connection and start a whole new one. Until it recognized the new connection. If you call HP they will charge you $9.95 to trouble shoot your computer. Both together were really helpful in getting my computer back up and running. I also had to add the drivers back in. The disc was bought from HP My computer crashes regularly..I believe that I got a lemon....Hope this helps..The info is online under HP.com
