It is much easier to use an analog mixer and microphone thru the mixer. I would plug the microphone into the mike input on the mixer and then the Karaoke machine to stereo LINE inputs on the the Mixer, then Mixer Output or Tape Output on the mixer to analog LINE IN on the MiniDisc recorder.
Let me know if you need more info.

SOURCE: mini disc recorder question

Just use the first two tracks, one for left and one for right and use the PAN pots to adjust the stereo positioning. Just run the 'tape out' or 'line out' or 'aux out' of the mixer to the REC "IN" on the MiniDisc recorder; hit "record" then the "play" button to start it. Make sure your input selector switch is on ANALOG and not DIGITAL or OPTICAL. Let me know how it works out for you. Okay? Thanks

You do not need any cable for copy data it isn't that complex, you just need a right software which is Long Path Tool to copy anything anywhere.

I have a cheap Samson microphone (package said designed for karaoke, not professional). It says R10S on it. It just plugs into the mic jack on the side of the laptop. I want to use it for online...

You can't record two audio sources at the same time without a high end soundcard, your computer will automatically switch to the mic input when you plug it in. The best way to do what you want is to use a program like SoundForge to record the music first, then record your voice while listening with headphones. Then you can export both tracks to an mp3 or whatever format you need. Or, you could possibly record the music, put it on an mp3 player, and play it over a stereo system while you sing along, and record the whole thing at the same time to your computer.

I want to record vocal voice trhought mic on psr 9000

You could record short "samples" to be used in building new voices, however, it does NOT appear that you can record a vocal song with the PSR9000. The Tyros II and III have the capability to record vocals but the PSR9000 and Tyros I do not..

When playing back an arrangement, you can re-sing the song and have the vocal harmonizer track the arrangement.

What are the exact steps to bounce tracks on the Boss Micro BR

It’s necessary to bounce all of your tracks to a stereo pair of tracks before you can export your song to a computer as a WAV or MP3 file for burning onto a CD.
1. In normal mode, push EXIT and UTILITY until you see BOUNCE on the display.
Note: The upper right corner of the display shows the track you’re bouncing to. By default, “12V2”—Tracks 1 and 2, Virtual Track 2—is selected.
2. Press STOP and REWIND together to go back to the beginning of the song.
3. Press RECORD, and then press PLAY.
4.When the song’s finished playing, press STOP.
i read some stuff online and this should help.

How do i put my music onto a cd? every

Often when recording music CD's you must "finalize" the CD so that the header info of the tracks are written and available to the player.

No sound when cd is playing, or on microphone

probably the amp section- I am working on a STVG-700 right now, the audio amp is mounted on the lowest circuit board in the case, includes the power supply except for the transformer. There are fuses mounted on this board, with luck that's all that blew on this. I know this problem is months old, but if you're like me and didn't get it fixed quickly, it's still sitting around somewhere...

Altering an mp3 track

hi,

If you simply want to overlap the voice, you can do that by recording using any free softwares available on internet (just google free recording softwares)
you can try, cooledit as well, one track will contain your file with play mode, one track with record mode (for your voice)
then start recording, it will play the song simultaneously with recording your voice.
After then, you have to save the mixdown.

other long way is, you have to get KARAOKE for that song (karaoke means, no vocals only music track) then you'll get the recorded song in good quality.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

Dear sir or Madam, I have recently bought second hand a Tascam mini disk 301 mk 11 and I believed this had the function of auto stop. I am using it for a dance performance and need the music to stop at...

The difficult way to do this is to use the "Program" function and program only 1 track - it will play then stop; then you will have to program the next track. This is the only way, short of individual disks, or inserting long blank track in between song to do this.

Boss BR900CD External MIDI

I'm not totally familiar with that Boss Digital Audio Workstation but it sounds like what you want to do is record both the music and vocal track at the same time. If that's the case I believe you can push both "Line" and "Mic" input buttons (perhaps not exactly named as such) at the same time to record both simultaneously. Otherwise I would suggest copying the music to it's own stereo track (or two individual tracks, each panned opposite from one another to maintain stereo) and then record your vocal track separately. That way you can record several takes and edit down the best parts to one final track.
I hope that helps.
