When i turn on the camera the lens wont pop open even when the battery is fully charged.... i was taking pictures and it working fine turn the camera off and on again then the lens wont open anymore? i can...

The problem is
1- some dirt somehow got on the outside of the lense. After it was retracted fully in, it prevents the camera from opening again. When you turn it on, if it opens a little bit, try to pull it out NOT too hard and let go a few times. If it opened, clear the outside of the lense. Your camera should be back to normal.
2- If you droped the camera, you probably damaged or dislocated a mechanical part of the lense. You may have to take out the lense by unscrewing it and inspect it for damged parts or disconnected cable. Make sure clean the lense and test it by moving it in and out a few times, before puting it back on the camera.

Have you tried turning off your active D-lighting? Also try turning the knob to Program mode "P" on the dial, take a few shots, then go back to auto and try it again. If you have further details, it would be useful...

It could be that the battery isn't holding a charge anymore if you are using rechargeable batteries in you camera. Most of them have a short life to them. If you can get a hold of another one, see if that solves that problem.

hi

the flash doesnt flash anymore, you may need to replace th bulb for that. the yellow light means its a warning that the bulb is wor out.

camera needs new shutter switch .If you can repair yourself and save $$$ .A few outside screws and new switch just plugs in ..new switch is an improved part #147724313 order at sony.com ..goodluck

hi, im not an expert, to say the least, but in the few times I ran into this problem, the camera owners had to replace it. unfortunatly, this is not a very rare issue with fuji's digital cameras, so they are probobly aware of it. I dont know if they will fix it for free, but in my opinion it worths a shot.
