How can I bypass the Honeywell 6000 programmable thermostat?

I prefer to set the heat manually, rather than use the program.

SOURCE: honeywell deluxe programmable thermostat 69-1402m

Solution #2 as above worked (thank you very much!) to get to the programming mode, but on mine keeping Function #13 on the default setting of "0" maintained the AIR.  Toggling the Temp button to "1" changed the system to conventional on/off at the programmed times.

SOURCE: honeywell rth230b won't shut off heat

Sounds like a relay sticking. Possibly in the thermostat or possibly the furnace relay at the furnace. The next time it happens, unplug the thermostat from the wall. If the furnace still runs then it's the furnace relay.

Hope that helps...

Hello, I have old Honeywell LR1620 thermostat. gas furnace and electric a/c. What options for a programable or non-programable Honeywell thermostat?

Here are some options:

Honeywell Home Non-Programmable Thermostats: These thermostats are designed for simplicity and comfort control. They come in a range of models, from the classic circular dial to easy-to-use soft-touch buttons and backlit displays. You can easily set your preferred temperature with the touch of your hand. The Honeywell Home website has a range of non-programmable thermostats to choose from .

Honeywell Home Programmable Thermostats: These thermostats allow you to set different temperatures for different times of the day. This can help you save energy and money on your heating and cooling bills. The Honeywell Home website has a range of programmable thermostats to choose from.

Honeywell Home Digital Non-Programmable Thermostat RTH5160D1003/E: This thermostat is simple and intuitive to use. It has a backlit screen and basic button functions that make it easy to control the temperature. Once you set your desired temperature, the thermostat stores it in its memory, even during a power outage. Non-Programmable Thermostats ' Honeywell Home RTH5160D1003/E Non-Programmable Thermostat ' Honeywell Home Might as well look at the programmable ones on their site. Check their customer service if you have an additional question. The above mentioned should work with your setup.

Have a honeywell RTH230b and this morning the display on the thermostat is flashing a house with a 4 inside the outline of the house and the heat is at 63 We had it set at 70. This is a 205 model

The Honeywell RTH230B indicates that the system is running the overnight (sleep) program with the 4 inside the house symbol. When the house flashes, the desired temperature has been changed from that programmed temperature (bypass mode). The bypass mode should only run for 2 hours.

The default programming starts the sleep period at 10 P.M. and ends at 6 A.M. On the original program in the thermostat, the temperature target was set to 62 during the heating season and 82 for the air conditioning season.

Since the thermostat was set to bypass, you should check who in your house pressed the Up/Down buttons on the thermostat to change the house temperature. Beyond that, check the start and end times and the programmed temperatures for each scheduled period. Honeywell has the manual for the RTH230B here: https://customer.honeywell.com/resources/techlit/TechLitDocuments/69-0000s/69-1800.pdf .

I hope this helps

(On my own programmable thermostat, we recently found that one period in the week had been left at the default setting. Thus the thermostat was programmed to maintain 60 degrees when we wanted 65 during the day.)

Honeywell focus pro 6000 thermostat

Right below the w setting on the base plate is the o/b connection. Put the O wire in this slot. During the initial test for heat and cool, the bias for cool for function 2 is 0 and for heat it is 1. To reach the programming press fan and Up arrow. Press next to reach function 2. Be aware the the O wire is energized and operates the reversing valve. Some manufacturers energizes the reversing valve to go into cooling, and some leave it deenergized to be in cooling. Select either 0 or 1 to make the system perform in the correct mode.
Hope this helps.

Have just moved into a rental property with honeywell heating already programmed, l want to totally delete programme and run manually, how do l delete not overide the proramme?

There is a reset on the back of the thermostat that can be pressed. Just a bit of warning though, it will try to automatically set a program as soon as it powers back up. Depending on the model also, I might try finding the manual first. Hope this helps!
