From your description you have two or three bad capacitors that are open, depending where it is taken for service the cost with parts and labor will run $150. to $200. but this is an estimate, shops have their own rates, I recommend an estimate so you have the choice to proceed.
I have friends running Freelanders. Some have spent virtually nothing on repairs and others have spent a fortune. Very hard vehicle to call. Look at Edmunds reviews perhaps. Is the previous owner available to recount his/her experiences? Some people (not a lot but Land Rover owners more than most) keep records of such things.
How's the bulb, black burned? You have shorted your instrument bulb and when putting the new one. Better take it to a bike repair garage as your wire must be burned also keeping your fuses to blow. If you want to dare, check at the end of your manual there should be an electrical diagram, just follow all wire related to you instrument and see if all are properly connected and in good conitions. Replace any wires that are burned or have a very soft mushy/bubbly plastic covers. Good enough free advise?
Because your TV is still projecting a B&W image doesn't mean the lamp is bad. This TV is having something else going on other than a lamp. Possibly a processing board issue if it's only projecting B&W. This will need to go into a trusted service shop. I would call and see if you can get an estimate of repair first. Blessings,

If you do not hear anything trying to come on, no fans, or relays clicking, you probably have a Thermal Fuse that has opened. Do to the dis-assembly that is required to replace it I recommend you have a qualified Service person come out to verify the symptom and repair the set. If that is what it is I estimate 400.00 or less to repair the set.
I hope this helps

if you have a Sony LCD projection ..Theres good chance optical block needs replacing .This spot will get bigger and will eventually cover most of screen the longer you use it .needs repair. If there is no warranty on this unit..I would estimate repair around 6- 8 hundred dollars ..
this is a symptom of a bad lamp. for some reason it won't spit out a lamp error. shaking up the lamp will sometimes fix temporarily but you will find replacing to be the answer. if your tv has a fan error, you will get 4 red blinks.
Hi if light blinks on any sony tv it the fallowing
1 screen adjustment in expensive repair you need a tv center
2 power supply problem fix is 85.00 to 120.00
3 flybak problem high voltage est 225.00
this will at least help you so you will not be taken advantage of when you call a service center

6 blinks means a low B error. Which is no DD 6volt output on G1 board . This will cause no picture and no sound. To fix this yourself you would need the manual to get the correct sequence to test and proper part to order. You can get a service manual for 10.99 at the following link and they will ask if you'd like it emailed to you after purchase. Here is the link, http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
