Its practically in new shape, but it won't charge. the light is flashing from red to green and sometimes orange. I've tried brand new chargers also. I think its the charger port.

SOURCE: We lost the charger for a few weeks when we found it now the nabi won't charge.

The charging cables are also quite finicky. If you are getting red/green flashing LED on the Nabi, be sure to turn it all the way off before charging. Also, wiggling the cable can get the unit to hold a red (charging) LED state - give it 10-15 seconds to determine if it is getting enough current to charge and the LED to settle.

The green light will on to charge but with seconds turn red and not charging

this could be due to a too high or too low voltage from the charging unit. if the device notices that the voltage is not correct it will not charge. ensure the charger is ok try using to charge another device such as a mobile phone and see if the same problem appears if so you need a new charger. if not then the device is faulty and needs repair or a new internal battery.

Try reseting it by holding down the power button (while unpluged,first) for 5-10 seconds. Then plug in charger.

If you have a PC, try hooking up to the PC with your USB connection. Turn power on PC and it should charge your Tablet.

First put the charger plug in the Tab, I just tried mine that was sitting on the desk, even though I held the power on button for a long time it would not start. I pluged the charger in so the red charging light is on Tried to start and it worked perfectly. i.e. the voltage level is very critical, if it is a fraction low it won't start.

Orange means it's charging or connected vs. green means fully charged.

At least that's the way my battery charger is on my kodak camera.
