Install your cam with the software provided when you bought it new, then will be ok.

I would Like to upload the videos from my Canon FS31 to my imac.


try using USB or Firewire - the mac should detect it.

I have the chord plugged in to the computer and the camera. and they recognize the other is there however i don't have the program on my computer to upload the photo I want off the camera

I have tried downloading pictures from my Canon a720 to both my pc and my Mac, neither computer recognizes the camera. I am not sure what to try next.

Canon CP760 will not recognize images. I loaded


hi,
you can try picasa-the free photo software by google to do all simple photo editing. after editing directly print the photo from the program(rather than transfering to sd card) as this will reduce chances of non-recognition by printer.

HAVE YOU TRIED THE CAMCORDER WEBSITE FOR UPDATED SOFTWARE? THEY MY HELP. SOME OF THE NEWER PHOTO PROGRAMS HAVE GOOD CAMERA RECOGNATION HARDWARE THAT MAY RECOGNIZE YOUR CAMERA TO DOWNLOAD. WINDOWS PHOTO GALLERY AND GOOGLES PICASA ARE TWO THAT MAY WORK FOR YOU. TRY THESE TO SEE IF THEY WORK. YOUR CAMCORDER MAY HAVE UPDATED SOFTWARE SINCE VISTA HAS BEEN OUT FOR A WHILE NOW. Automatically deleting photos


Use picasa...the easiest software to load the pictures on your computer. In the import wizard there is an option to specify whether to delete or keep them.
