my panasonic tv model no. PV-DF2704, program light is blinking and I don't know how to cut it off. It is causing my tv to cut off. My remote control will not work. I bought it second hand. I program a universal remote and it works for a little while, but I can not set my tv for cable. Please help me if you can.

best bet for now is to unplug the tv from the a/c and let it sit for at lease a full day...no kidding... then replug and play the tv again.

if you have a mobile phone with a camera on it put it into video mode to record a video and point your remote control at the lens of the camera at arms length so you can see the remote through the screen on the phone then press any buttons on the remote control and that will tell you weather it is working or not, you should see a light flashing on your remote control that is not visable to the human eye (the camera on your phone can see it but you cannot) you will see it via your phone camera, change batteries on remote control if you dont see the flashing light emmiting diode on your remote control.
