Only thing I can tell you to try is to swap the power cord.

If that doesn't work, the unit is probably gone from a power surge.

You can lookup the warranty at support.dell.com and click Warranty status on the left side and enter the service tag number on the back of the switch--perhaps it is still under warranty, and if so Dell will replace free of charge.

SOURCE: Dell Powerconnect 2016 All leds are on, solid no blinking.

Had same problem with my Dell Pwoerconnect 2016, power it on and all LEDs light up but nothing works.
The problem was traced to one or both output capacitors ( 10v 680uf ) on the ( tiny ) power supply.
Capacitor symptoms include bulging or rounded tops instead of flat like new one and the rubber plug in base of capacitor protruding.
Capacitors need to be replaced.
I have successfully replaced with 10v 1000uf and 10v 1200uf, both Rubycon and Sanyo brands.
Power to the switch board is now restored and the switch is able to function just fine.
Give it a go and see if it works for your Powerconnect.

Dell Switch 2724 stopped responding after power outage

Sounds as if a power surge has damaged it. Are the LEDs constantly on regardless of connection or do they only come on when devices are connected? A factory reset should be possible by inserting a pin into the ‘managed mode’ hole, waiting a few seconds, then releasing the button for a few seconds and repeating again.

No ip adress

Hi,
First, at the command prompt type ipconfig /flushdns. This will purge the dns cache, then type ipconfig /registerdns. This will refresh your DHCP lease and re-register any DNS names.

After trying the ipconfig /registerdns command, wait for about 15 minutes, then check your status and see it your issue is resolved.

If not, try reinstalling your NIC drivers.
Let us know if you need further clarification.
