Camera is dead , battery is fine , nothing turns on

Have you tried adjusting the various program settings ?

Very odd that both cameras would stop working at the same time, has someone else abused them?

Removeing the batterys for a while is a good enought reset, check the battery connectors and contact your dealer if they both have warranty you will get them repaired or replaced for free. other than that I can recommend you a repair man if you provide me the city you live in.

your battery life cell is dead that is y it is showing green light.Replace wit new battery and your camera will work fine.thanks

Two quick suggestions first is the battery chamber contacts clean make sure they are clean. Are you using a battery pack with rechargeable AA's ? if so check the battery orientation it only takes one out of place. If you are using the rechargeable battery I know you said the batteries were fine but make sure the power is up on the rechargeable. I've had it where I put a battery on charge knowing it was pretty well dead came back 5 minutes later and the light was green, took the battery of the charger unplugged the charger plugged the charger back in and put the battery back on the charge. It then completed its true cycle.

Cry. Check with Panny to see if there is any sort of reset that you can perform to the camera to restore operation. If nothing , then your camera has died prematurely. Not a good thing but it happens.

try replacing the battery. Check best buy, radioshack or other camera dealers for a battery. Possible deadcell battery. These lith-ion batteries die with no warning. If there is no change, the camera is defective!! hopefully htis helps

maybe its a dead battery or scratch the oins of battery and cam

see if you can test the camera with another battery , you may be able to borrow one from a local camera store

So your power shot has gone south. Shame because they are really good cameras. Unless it is a very ex[pensive model repair is never cost effective.
