Key lock on soniq plasma tv witout remote control

Unfortunately the key lock cannot be deactivated without a remote, for it will defeat the purpose of key-locking. You can order a replacement remote, you need to have the exact information of your TV's model/version ( the barcode on the back of the TV starts in REVxxxx).

Yes the problem is the power supply.You can do replacement of power supply if the power supply you replace is the same to the original power supply of your television.If did not the same there's a conversion in the wiring, it may be difficult for not technician and have no knowledge in electronics..Thanks..

Soniq 42'' QSP424T keeps freezing

I have been repairing Plasma Tvs for some 3 years now and have found most of the problems caused are by Capacitors.Once again Soniq are no different to the others.The fault is on the main Video Control Pcb.Replace Capacitor C529 which is a 470mfd25v.This cap is mounted next to an inductor coil at the top middle of the pcb.This Pcb is the one which has the tuner and all inputs on it.
Good Luck AND PASS THE WORD AROUND. LET US KEEP THE SERVICE INDUSTRY GOING.

My Soniq PT42SH turns its self off every 15min. It will not turn back on using the power switch on the front panel. The only way to turn it back on is to unplug it and plug it back in. I have seen people...

had problems with mine too but thru out manual, I FOUND IT ON HERE

Vertical white line down centre of Soniq PT42SH plasma TV.

One of your "X" buffer boards is defective. In Panasonic plasma tv's they are located at the bootom of the set and connect directly to the plasma diplay panel via a thin ribbon cable. The board you want to replace will be directly in line with the discolored vertival line in the picture. The part number is on the circuit board and usualy starts with "tnp..." or "txp..."
