hi,
check the other push buttons on the control console. if found faulty replace it. it is the only thing u can do in the control console. if problem remains u should replace the control console with a new one. for that u have to consult the manufacturer.
do one more thing before consulting manufacturers, remove the control console put out its circuit board. using a hair drayer heat the whole board. do not over heat.. then re fix it and test it.
ok

SOURCE: Epic 425 Mx Treadmill EPTL88105 buttons dont work

1) Try to open the top consol.
2) Spray with contact cleaner( from radio schack or computer store)
3) Tight the flexible cable from keypanel vs display board
4) Tight the connector from display board to Lower board( Main Controller Board)
5) Test the main controller board.
6) Test the transformer.
Finally See the Block diagram that I did, you will see how the Main Controller Board has the 90% in any control. In that way you will have a good Strenght resultante, for to determine who is faulty. sincerely. Good luck.

What is the tension setting for normal sewing?

as no machine make is advised , the rule of thumb is that before threading the needle pull the thread and adjust the tension until a definite pull is required

I have a baby lock, spirit embroidery machine. When I am stitching, the bobbin thread shows up on the top.....it makes it look like a variegated stitching. Can you help me solv this

You might try loosening the top tension. If that doesn't work, then try tightening the bobbin tension (do it only tiny increments!). What you want to do is decrease the amount of pull the upper thread applies to the bobbin thread, or increase the amount of pull the bobbin thread applies to the top thread.

How do I adjust the tension. Even at zero resistance it is too difficult

Hi Doug,
You may have a problem with the resistance motor. The covers will have to be taken off to fix.
Usually when you increase or decrease the resistance you will hear the motor working. Do you hear it ?

I bought a second hand Proform 14.0 CE elliptical. The incline is stuck at about 20 degrees. The incline ramp moves slightly while trying to calibrate but remains about 20 degrees. The display shows that...

FOLLOW this steps and fix it. God bless you
Clean the heart rate monitoring pads if the console is not displaying your heart rate when you grip the pads. Use a damp cloth and a mild soap to clean the pads. Do not use alcohol or any other abrasive cleaners that may damage the equipment.

Calibrate the ramp if the elliptical is not functioning properly. Press and hold the "Target Toning Workouts" button on the console until the calibration mode appears on the display. Press the "Target Toning Workouts" button once. The elliptical will display additional directions. Use the "One Step Power Ramp" increase and decrease buttons to raise and lower the ramp.

Adjust the reed switch by removing the access cover, which sits over the wheel of the elliptical at the back of the machine. The access cover can be removed with a flat-head screwdriver. Unplug the machine. The reed switch provides information to the console for display. Rotate the pulley until the pulley magnet, which is under the belt, lines up with the reed switch. The reed switch has a wire running into it. Loosen the screw to the reed switch and adjust the distance closer or farther from the pulley magnet. Tighten the screw. Plug in the machine and rotate the pulley. If the console still is not displaying correctly, repeat adjusting the reed switch distance either closer or father from the pulley magnet.

Adjust the drive belt if the pedals slip while in use. Unplug the elliptical. Lift the latch on the underside of the left pedal arm and slip it off. Use a screwdriver to remove the arm sleeve and pry open the disc panel. Loosen the pivot screw located on the left side. The belt tighten screw is below the pivot screw. Tighten the belt tightening screw until the belt is tight. Tighten the pivot screw. Replace the disc and arm to the elliptical

My 390 E is locked up and I can't move the pedals. I checked the belt, it's still on and it's tight.

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
Electronics Problem You control the tension of the pedals using the buttons on the console. When you assemble the A.C.T. elliptical, you have to thread a group of wires from the console through the upright down to the electronics board. These wires communicate the resistance settings to the electronics board. If the wires twist, disconnect or break, the resistance will not work. You will need to reconnect or replace the wires.

How to use the Proform 515S EKG Elliptical?

To mount the elliptical trainer, firmly hold the handlebars or the T-handle and carefully step onto the pedal that is in the lowest position. Next, step onto the other pedal. Push the pedals until they begin to move with a continuous motion. Note: The pedal disks can turn in either direction. It is recommended that you turn the pedal disks in the direction shown below; however, to give variety to your exercise, you may choose to turn the pedal disks in the opposite direction.
To dismount the elliptical trainer, allow the pedals to come to a complete stop. CAUTION: The elliptical trainer does not have a free wheel; the pedals will continue to move until the flywheel stops. When the pedals are stationary, step off the highest pedal first. Then, step off the lowest pedal.
As you exercise, you can adjust the resistance of the pedals with the resistance knob on the console. To increase the resistance, turn the knob clockwise; to decrease the resistance, turn the knob counterclockwise.
