Your machine is computerized and, as such, are closed systems (difficult-impossible to take the covers off per manufacturer's design). May be worthwhile to take it for service.

The tension on the belt is probably too tight. This would keep the motor from turning the machine or it would turn it with a lot of resistance. Loosen the belt tension.

There is a shaft that runs from the top of the machine to the bottom, in turn driving the bottom gear and belt. Though it is hard to see, you will probably find that the gear at the top of that shaft has the teeth broken. It is not impossible to change but definitely difficult.
The one thing on a sewing machine that needs the most repair work is the belt. The sewing machine belt is a piece of rubber that makes the wheel turn and the needle go up and down in a sewing motion. If the belt is in bad shape, the sewing machine will not work. Sometimes while sewing you may notice a burnt rubber smell. When you smell this, you know it is time to change the belt. Changing a sewing machine belt is fairly easy; just make sure you have the proper belt.
the drive belt is normally a cog type belt inside the head of the machine
I would be looking in that area and at the belt or at the tension of that belt
may be a service technician would be able to correctly adjust and fix the problem
Belts on sewing machines have what is called a "tensioner." That is a piece--usually at the bottom of the belt--that has (generally) two screws, also generally Allen screws, that should be loosened, but not removed. Once loosened, you can increase the tension on the belt, but it should be adjusted JUST ENOUGH so that the teeth grab. Be very careful not to tighten too much; if you do, you can burn out a bearing over time.
A FRIEND GAVE ME A SUPERLOCK 2000 WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. THE HANDWHEEL WAS HARD TO TURN AND MACHINE WONT RUN WHEN PLUGGED IN. I OPENED THE SIDE COVER WHERE HANDWHEEL IS LOCATED. FOUND THE BELT WAS DRIVEN OFF THE MOTOR. PUT ON THE BELT ON THE MOTOR, OILED THE MOVING PARTS.

The error message relates to the motor sensing that it is working unusually hard.........the extra strain will have a physical cause, generally in the hook and bobbin region.......something blocking or slowing things down, so....... Remove needleplate and bobbin case. You will probably find an accumulation of lint in and around this area, also possibly in the feeddog channels. Use a small brush and vacuum with crevice tool to remove the lint and wipe the hookrace with a tissue moistened with methylated (denatured) spirit to remove any dirt deposits. Also check that the bobbin case is not damaged on the top surface by needle strikes or on the underside rim by the hook gouging as it spins. If damage is present but mild, you can use very fine emery paper to smooth surface, if more severe, replace the bobbin case. Don't forget to change needles regularly too. If your machine is hard to turn you need to look for threads which are bunched up around moving parts or it needs oil badly. This, combined with skipping stitches, indicates a need for a technician to adjust the timing and generally service the machine. sewman7
