Why doesn't it turn on?

Possible that the program timer is faulty as it fails to switch on the pump in the required sequence. You can clean the contacts, check the power to the pump, trace the pump power line to the timer which can confirm the case. In such cases the timer must be replaced.

This is a common symptom of failing filter capacitors in the power supply board. Over time as the capacitors start to fail they are not able to buildup and hold a charge like they should. The worse they get the longer the start time will be until one day the unit will not start up at all. The unit not powering on is an indication that it has a power fault.

First, remove the machine's power cord from the wall, wait for about 30mins, then plug it back in. It may cool by then and might power on. If it doesn't power on, plug it into another outlet, to make sure there electricity entering into the unit.

If plugging into another power outlet doesn't power it on then the unit is most likely having a power problem.

When electric current comes from the power outlet into the machine, it goes straight into the power supply board which then circulates the current into the unit. So if the machine doesn't power on, the first thing is to make sure there is power entering into the machine.

So check the power cord, if it is a 3-pin plug, it must have a fuse in it. check the fuse if it is not blown. if fuse is intact, then power supply board should be checked.

If any machine or electronics device doesn't power on, it means its having a power problem. It might have worked fine in the past, but that's electronics for you. Power surge, irregular power supply, excess power supply, etc can affect the unit thereby not making it to power on.

This machine must have a power supply board in it where power enters from the mains. A capacitor, fuse, diode, etc may have been defective on the power board and maybe that's why its not making the machine turn on. There might also be some disconnection or something, inside the unit which is not making it to power on.

To actually find out what's wrong, you need to disassemble the unit with a screw driver and check what's wrong. You will be needing a meter and continuity tester in order to read the components on the power board, once you detect any bad component, you can make necessary replacement at any electronics accessories store within our vicinity.You might also find visible bad component without testing with a meter. This is the only way by which you can detect the problem.

Of course, testing the power board with a meter will require someone that has the ability. So it you can't, then you might be needing the help of a repairman or you can call a friend that has the ability to help you out.

For sure there is a malware or a corrupt file or virus that has crept into the OS and makes the program crash at every instance. The possible solution that comes to my mind is to format the drive and reload once again so that the system will be free from any faulty registry files.
Also it will be best to contactmacbooks who sold this product as it must be confirmed before you attempt to reload.
Take consensus in this case to confirm the problem specially if the PC is under warranty.

Please remove the unit from any power. Once you have, please replace the unit to find that the button is no longer in the stuck position. Please do not attempt to troubleshoot the button when and IF any power is being applied.

Chances are if its making clicks the power supply is bad and you will need to replace it. Which makes sense because constantly powering the tv on and off will damage the power supply or possibly short out your motherboard. These things usually cost about 200 bucks to fix at a local tv repair store.

You have discribe a problem that sounds like a powersupply cap. It may also be more than one. LOOK at the board very hard for bad caps.

How did you get it to download to your Mac are using Mac OS X.5?  I am using 10.5 and the program just quits on me... I have not been able to download any pics at all.
