I have gone through the troubleshooting guide. I have good batteries, a working motor and fuse, but get no reaction when turning the throttle. How can I determine if it is the throttle/governor or the controller that has failed?
I had the same , I bought a new controller, but If the batteries are not good, the car wont reaction to the throttle, you can check conecting in direct from the dc charger to the line from batteries,
If the motor is good will run in reaction to the throttle if dont you need to check an electric switch inside the brakes, use a metal to close circuit and try again.
I had the same problem and was able to determine it was the control box by switching parts with another mini racer.

Troy,
I have looked through the wiring and didn't see anything loose. Do you have an idea of what wire might be loose so that I can look further. It is kind of woerd in that the toy was working perfectly when it was put away, the next time we got it out, there was nothing when the throttle was applied. The lights do come on though. I have checked the batteries and they are at 25.8 volts, and when I tied the battery direct to the motor terminal, the motor ran fine.
