Model - CFW4700LWO SERIAL- 4C31001977 crosley front load washer will not work in heavy load cycle. Times out after 3 mins and shuts off. Washer only works on casual cycle

This would be a control board issue, pull the panel apart and check for burned connector and circuit board overheating. If the control boards are showing signs of heat damage you may have a defective drive motor as well.

Clothes Washer Will Not Drain

My front loading clothes washer wasn't draining properly, it wouldn't complete the cycle, and the clothes would come out still sopping wet.

We found that the problem was the filter located next to the water pump. It prevents large items from entering the water pump and causing severe damage to the pump.

To access the filter on my Whirlpool machine I had to remove the top panel, the front control panel, remove the door gasket from the front panel, and then remove the front panel. On some models all that is needed is to remove a panel on the bottom-front of the machine. (I wish mine was like that!)

This video I did on it might help you understand what to look for.
I imagine that a top loading clothes washer has a similar pre-filter.

My frontload gallery series washer will start cycle, but only continues to fill with water and drain. It did this all night but didn't go on to the next stage of the cycle...is it a bad control switch

Sounds like a problem with the main electronic control board in the control panel but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt meter and the wiring diagram from the machine.

My HE2 front load wouldn't drain & spin and was making noises below. i called Affordable Repair and they said the control panel had to be replaced for $200 + labor. i said the noise is coming from u

Hi.

The noise coming from underneath is symptom of a problem with drain pump or drain line.

The standard procedure consists in accessing the drain filter to check if it is blocked, then testing drain pump. Most of the time the noise is caused by blockage at drain filter. In some case the pump is gone.

The control panel gets replaced only after checking drain filter, testing drain pump and also after testing the water pressure switch that determines when to start or stop the pump.

Bye.

Washer is not draining. How do I remove the front panel of my Electrolux IQ front load washer (Model EIFLW55HIW) in order to access the drain pump? There is no access panel on the front of the washer....

you will need to remove the lid first then remove the screws that hold the control panel in place.then you will need to remove the door boot on the front panel. there will be two screws on the bottom of the panel that will need to be removed as well as the screws on the top of the panel.

While washing a load, "sd" is showing on the

The F35 indicates that the main control board detects a problem with the analog pressure sensor (water level pressure switch) in the washer. This component senses and controls water level in the washer. This failure could be caused by a pinched or broken air hose between the air trap at the bottom of the washer tub and the analog pressure sensor. It can also be caused by a clogged air trap or a failed analog pressure sensor. If you are able to unplug the washer and pull off the top panel, you can check for the probable cause of this failure.

To remove the top panel, remove the screws on the very back of the panel that secure it to the washer cabinet. Pull the top panel back slightly and then and off of the washer. It is on the side wall just behind the expansion control board. You can check the air pressure hose connection and the wire harness connection on this component.

This component costs around $99.This information was based on the general description of the washer model that you provided (Kenmore Elite front load washer). There are several different models of this washer.

The following link explains the error in more detail and how to correct:

NOTE: If these preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor. Since the error code can be generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.

I get an F 11 code on the display

Hi.

F11 is bad connection detected between central control unit (control panel) and motor control unit(control module connected to motor, inside machine).

Try disconnecting power for five minutes and see if this can reset the error.

The repair is carried testing wiring between the two control modules and testing wiring to the motor.

To contact a repairer call the service number listed in the appliance use and care manual.

Regards.

When I turn the washer on any cycle to wash all indicator LED ligts flash. What is the problem?

I suspect that the controller board is defective and a possibility that the microcontroller is faulty.
Since the main board is filled with epoxy it will be difficult to identify the component as the testing becomes tiring.
Look for any chance that the board has any visible damage, any power related issues. If not the board may need a change.

Topload washer

The first thing to try is to unplug and wait a few minutes, and plug back in to clear board...
If there is still water in the unit you may need the pump replaced or there may be something in it.(it may have sensed a flood and locked out)

Lastly if you want to go further you need to remove the front panel by peeling back the emblem right in front, there is a screw you remove, pull the top out and up, you will see the screws holding the front panel on.
there is a tech sheet inside.in this model. (a lot of washers are in the control panel) There are switches that are not depressed when you take the panel off, these are ground protection from the motor.(high voltage main)

It is also possible there is a main control board problem.
Not a solution, but unit needs further testing......
