Technogym run excite 700 shows COM error equipment blocked

Gentlemen,

if your screen keeps "resetting", and it takes almost a minute with no move, and afterwards, if your screen works too slow when you see the message "press a key", problem might be the emergency stop button.
it is very easy to try. just take out 4 screws out from the bottom of emergency button box, open it up and take the cables which are closer to you out, and connect them by hand.
in this way you will be bypassing the emergency button and disabling its functionality.
then check if it works.
I attached the photo of faulty switches which should normally close the circuit, and only opens when emergency button is pressed. those ones lose their conductivity, so keep the circuit open, preventing any of your motors working.

Accidently got 220 volts for 3 seconds, then shut off. will not re-start, how should I proceed?

Look for reset button, hopefully reset would have tripped. If compressor will not power on, remove cover to pressure switch and examine contacts for burned. If burned, temp. connect 110v to motor side of switch, (black- black and white-white) if motor runs ok replace switch. If motor does not run check capacitor for proper valve, replace as needed. If cap tests ok and motor will not run check motor windings for melted white strings that bind wiring. If windings look burned most likely you will need to find used motor from repair center.

Trips thermal overload. power source ok. oil ok

Several things to check. Amp draw to be within number on plate, if amp draw not correct check capacitor, should be within 5% of rating on cap.. If amp draw about right and cap reads good suspect faulty breaker. If amp draw high and cap. good check for leak at in-tank check valve. With pressure in tank remove hose at check valve spray soapy water. If check valve good, suspect reed valves leaking. If reeds are leaking the compressor will take longer than normal to fill and the discharge tube/air will get very hot. It is recommended to note the amount of time it takes to fill tank when unit is new and compare this as unit wears. Length of time to fill is an indication of how well unit is working. A combination of leaky valves and leaking fittings as well as leaking checkvalve will cause motor to overheat.

Air conitioner started to automatically climb in temperature, we shut the unit off, put new batteries in the remote. the uit will not turn on at all. Prior to this the unit worked perfectly. Can you...

Since it was running (although not cooling) when you turned it off (and put batteries in the remote) it would be strange to have no power at the outlet - but I would check and make sure.

The easy way to check your outlet is - toplug something else in there - like a hair dryer or a lamp - 'assuming' your unit plugs into a regular household outlet, and is indeed a 110 volt appliance.

Step 1 - plug another appliance (hair dryer or lamp) into the outlet

If - after plugging something else into the outlet, i.e. a hairdryer and it works ok - you will - then know that there is nothing wrong with your power supply (110volt outlet). So you can move on to Step 2

Note: if the other appliance does not work - then you need to check the Circuit Breaker to see if it's tripped off. Many times circuit breakers will trip for no particular reason and just needs to be reset (turning breaker off and back on). If you find the breaker is tripped - and you reset it - and the unit - runs and cools ok - I would just keep an eye on it for a few days - watching to see if it does again. A breaker that "keeps" tripping for no apparant reason is an indicator of something electrically wrong within the unit and probably needs a Service Tech to troubleshoot it.

Step 2 - Since the power supply is ok - see if you can start the AC manually - without using the remote. If the unit will not start "manually" - I would look for a "reset button/switch" (*not all units have one) and reset it. Note: if after resetting the unit - it still does not run then proceed to next step (step 3). Or if you can't find a reset button I would look in my manual and see if it can help you find it - if, however you do not have a 'reset button/or can't locate one' then go to next step (step 3).

If - however, after resetting - "the unit comes on and -runs and cools- ok" - I would then 'turn it off,' and let it set for 5 minutes and then try operating it with the remote. If it works with the remote I would then assume you just had an 'electrical glitch' and everything should be ok. If it "doesn't work" with remote I would suspect a defective remote and replace it.

Step 3 - since you have power (at the outlet) and either have 'reset' the unit or can't locate a reset button, or there is no reset on the unit - you are now in need of a Service Tech to electrically trouble-shoot the unit to find the problem. Note: I'm assuming at this point 'Nothing' is running, - not the fan motor - or the compressor, in which case you might look for a "fuse" in the unit - again not all units have one, indeed most do not, but it's something you could check, and easily replace if it's bad.

If, after completing all the checks above and the unit still fails to come on (either manually or with remote) - then you are, as I said above, in need of a Service Tech.

hope this has helped

I have a D55141 and it just quit working. I was using a palm nailer and it quit. Is there a reset button?

Yes, all compressor motors have a reset button, usually marked by an arrow. Push it in till it clicks, should be ok. They usually conk off when they are lacking power, like when the compressor is running and somebody fires up the skil saw, off goes the reset.Hope this helps.

Back wiper stopped working on my 2002 buick revdezvous

better if you look for a fuse, i work on them and never heard of a reset button, lol. make sure arm is not slipping on shaft and motor is really all the way stopped, if fuse is ok the mostlikely cause i have seen is the motor, you can pull down the back panel and turn on wiper and tap on motor to see if it starts taking off, this may or may not work but worth the try, if does not work unplug the wire to the motor and put a test lamp on the positive and negative sides to see it the power and ground is getting to motor but i would suspect your looking at a motor.
