Hello Tracy, thank you for your post!

From what you have described you need help putting your Frigidaire washer into a clean cycle. In order to further assist you I would need your model number. You can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the door frame of your washer. With that information I would be happy to further assist you. -Matt

The washer is leaving residue on my brand new clothes even when i adjust the amount of soap

Hey friend, thanks for your post!

Based off the information you have provided it sounds like there could be a buildup of soap within your appliance. I would recommend performing a clean cycle on your appliance which can be done by using a hot wash cycle and a cup of bleach. I hope that helps to some degree. -Matt

Do you put detergent in the frigidaire affinity front loader clean washer cycle?

Good Afternoon Jodi,

I understand that you are wondering if you put detergent in your Frigidaire Affinity washer for the clean cycle. You do not put detergent in. You will want to take the detergent cup out and put a cup of bleach in there when you run the clean cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

I have a front loading washer and it was flashing an error code "EFO' What does that mean?

I just spoke with customer support for my Affinity. They told me it was over sudsing (sp?). from using too much soap or not using high efficiency soap. Suggested running thru a cycle without soap to clear things out.
