if you wont mind losing your data that are not backup... you can simply perform a hard reset to factory settings. 1. remove the battery 2. re-instert the battery 3. hold VolumeDown button then press the power button Do not release the volumedown key til u get to recovery mode Now that you are in recovery mode, first try WIPING CACHE and then reboot your phone. if the problem persist, then repeat step1-3 again this time, select WIPE DATA FACTORY RESET if wiping cache solves it, then your data are intact WIPING DATA FACTORY RESET wil return ur phone to new without losing any unlocking feautures. i'm McKennie

You probably cannot. Most phones need to be unlocked, which is a whole different can of worms. And probably this one will not work in the 4G mode with another carrier.

SOURCE: I have a LG VS980W The white one, Verizon 4G LTE. When I power it on, it only shows the Verizon logo and nothing else. what needs to be done to it to make it work again?

The only way to fix the issue is by performing a factory reset and you will lose all of your downloaded apps and data.

To do a factory reset perform the following

1 Turn phone off
2 Press and hold down Volume down key plus Power/lock key together
3 Re;ease the Power/lock key only when the LG logo appears, then immediately press and hold the Power/lock key again.
4 Release all keys when the Factory data reset screen is displayed
5 Press the Volume key up or down, highlight yes and press the Power/lock key to continue. If you want to cancel highlight no and press Power/lock key.
6. Press the Volume key up or down and highlight Yes and press Power/lock button to confirm. Once confirmed the phone will restart and should be fixed.
