It won't be a problem. Go ahead and order it. The wire itself does nothing to the electricity. You could probably go to radio shack or something and get it quicker.

I found a replacement adapter at LCDPAYLESS.COM it will arrive soon I will log-on as soon as I get it to let you know if it works. I never ordered anything from them before hope it works. Also i will keep my receipt and seen it to protron to have them refund my money
