Fabric softner will not empty - Maytag MAH8700A Front Load Washer

Try siphoning it out or pumping it out .

check for blockage if not replace water valve that goes to fabric softner

I have the same problem with mine. I found that some fabric softners worked better than others. I found Downy the worst, when i switched the problem seems to stop once i cleaned out the drawer

You must take out the compartment and empty it out before adding any bleach the next time, there is a type of button way in the back that you press down on pull out the entire door and empty the water for the next washing. You must press down very hard the entire door does come out check out your book for instructions it is way in the back on the left hand side. This happens to mine once in a while not all the time.

try thinning your fabric softner with a little water,the viscosity of some is higher than others. (this is how thick it is & varys by brand)i think you will find with a little trial & error this will solve the problem.if not,then contact us again & we will try another option.hope this helps & thanx again for using fix-ya .please rate all replys & again thanx.

It obviously is backed up or splashed in from the wash. And if it is just water why worry about it.
