I have two Thunder tumbler remote control cars. How do I change the frequency so they are each on a separate frequency for racing with each other?

The frequency cannot be changed in the cars. The frequency is set, you have to buy two different frequency cars. There are stickers on the cars, and there is also a label on the outside of the box. The frequencies are 27 and 49, we got two 49s, so we ll have to exchange one.

We purchased two Barbie corvettes for twins and it seems that one remote controls both cars. Is there a different setting where they can control their own car?

Hi Janet, unfortunately this I'd due to the transmitter frequency being the same! This should have been pointed out to you when purchasing both items together! The packaging should indicate this too! I race remote control cars and on the higher end transmitters the frequency can be changed so all racers are on different frequencies but this would not be the case for you!

Same remote control frequency for avengers trike

None that I have ever heard of---usually those are burned in the microprocessor circuit the unit uses with the remote.

Only chance would be to contact the maker of each to see if alternate code can be set but I doubt it.

My sons have two rc cars one a Hurricane and the other a Street scailer bith from Scientific toys and both 27mhz. Is their any way to change the frequency as they both interfear with each other when played...

IM NOT FAMILIAR THE THESE BRANDS BUT THERE SHOULD BE A CHIP IN THE CONTROLER THAT POPS OUT THAT YOU CAN CHANGE AS WELL AS THE CAR ITSELF. FIRST LOOK AT THE CONTROLLER WHERE IT HAS THE FREQUENCY AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PULL IT OUT. IF SO THERE IS ONE IN THE CAR TOO, JUST MAKE SURE YOU BUY A DIFFERENT FREQUENCY AND REINSTALL.

Our identical twins got identical Vengeance radio controlled cars from Blue Hat Toy Company. The problem, they're on the same frequency and there are no more in town to trade one out. Can the frequency...

Because of regulations set by the authority in your (any) country which controls the radio spectrum usage, toys in particular are only allowed to operate on certain frequency bands and the transmitter must be controlled by signal sources (oscillators) that are 'crystal' controlled (quartz). These maintain a very stable signal at a specific frequency just like a 'quartz watch.' The receivers need not be that stable so the controlled toy has a simpler circuit that can be tuned but this isn't useful in your case since that would only result in reducing the sensitivity (range) unless the transmitter crystal was changed.
I'm sure the manufacturer has anticipated the possibility that two or more of these toys might be operated in close proximity and probably has multiple models with different crystals available but unless you can contact them, this won't do you much good as you would likely have to return the toy to have it changed.

WE LIVE IN A CONDO AND SOMEONE IN THE COMPLEX HAS A hAMPTON bAY CEILING FAN WITH A REMOTE JUST LIKE US. wE MUST BE ON THE SAME FREQUENCY AND WHEN THEY TURN THEIRS ON IT WILL MAKE OURS COME ON WHEN WE HAVE...

There should be dip switches in/on both the remote control and the ceiling fan that enable you to change the control frequency. The only thing that you have to ensure is that the two components are set to a matching frequency.

The switches in the remote are located in the battery compartment just above the batteries. Remove the dome on the ceiling fan and you should find the switches for that unit. Just compare the two and match whatever changes you make from one unit to the other.
