I think you had the same problem that my aunt had with her Cavalier. The fuel pump
failed. Grandfather installed an aftermarket fuel pump and it worked fine. I hope this
is the solution. (As a side note, I think you were losing prime through the pump).

Good day,
That's a no-no. Your compressor carries a 5 year warranty from the factory. However, if anything is altered on it the warranty is voided. You've got an issue with this guy.

Fuel pump stops working,Then runs again later

You don't say how old the truck is - or how old the pump is - most likely it is the pump 'dying' as you try it -

I would look near the tank and find the ground wire -[ it may be on top of the tank] - the most common fix is the fuel pump and sadly it sounds like this is it --

Also - Take down the Vin # and call the local dealer - - ask about recalls and Service bulletins.

Fimco 15 gal sprayer has lost prime

There is an o-ring inside that is probably bad. I tore my pump apart and found it and repaired it. My sprayer was about two years old as well.

89 regal won,t start but after 5 or 10 min. runs great

sounds like your fuel pump is going out. One thought might be that the fuel filter is causing enough resistance to over heat the pump. I would check the fule pressure to determine a free flow of fuel.
