That would be for the internal backup battery. If you're not familiar with that, you need to take it to a service center.

How to change internal battery in alesis d4 drum module

I replaced the internal battery and since I couldn't find a battery holder, I added 3 wire posts to the board, so next time I won't have to remove the whole board, simply unsolder from above. Simple hack.

Amplifier head is working but no sound from speakers. Head tested with external speakers and is OK.

A simple test is to connect internal speakers across an AA battery (for about half a second) & listen for a click as battery is connected & another as battery is disconnected.

If this does not happen, check the internal jack plug connection & its connection to the speakers.

If OK, then you can test each speaker individually using the same battery across each in turn.

If this advice is helpful, I would appreciate a rating.

Convert a Behringer BCF2000 to run on batteries?

The basic unit requires 10 watts at line voltage. Modifying the unit internally would be a disaster. You are better off using an invertor to drive it.

The internal supply will be a switching type and probably generate +/- 15 volts and +5 volts.

Can't access internal sound and performance patches

Go to http://www.thedx7.co.uk/ Click on 14 Battery Change which is a walkthrough. You will; have to do a sysex data dump to restore the sounds. All that info should be on that site as well as some other great stuff. Hope this helps.

I plug in my casio ctk-800 and it does not turn on when i press the on button

If you lucky, the power jack may be at fault since it switches from external to internal battery, but most likely the internal supply is what's damaged... IC regulator possibly. A quick voltage check with a volt meter at the power leads on the main board will verify battery or xfmr supply voltage, if voltage is present then look in close proximity for an IC regulator and check for an output.
