Lost the program disk need new software

Go to the web cam site and you should be able to download drivers from site.

If I understand correct that you have a Logitech QuickCam Express, then you can download the software from here.

Otherwise go here and choose your webcam from the list.

You can have your web cam driver information in the windows/inf directory and the driver in windows/system/drivers
You can also install the cam driver or any hardware driver in this way if you have installed previousely

i lost my logitech quickcam express installation disk, so now i m not able to use it as a webcam,plz help me get through this.i have searched for its drivers but no reliable link was found.so i need ur help,plz help me as soon as possible.

Just go to the company's website that made your web cam and download a new driver(the program that makes your webcam work with your computer). You can usually download this program free of charge straight to your computer. My suggestion to you would be to also save this download to a disk so that you will have the disk once again and can use your webcam on other computers, good luck!
P.S.
Make sure you get the exact download for you webcam i.e. model no. and so on because if you don't your webcam may not work properly.

Here is the only free driver available,
First click on (free registration required)and complete registration.
Then click vc2110-w98seme-i.zip input your registration details start download and choe download to hard disk.

Depending on you camera model, go to http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/&cl=gb,en
select you model, then d/l and install the software.

Here is the link to the software for your web cam. All you have to do is click on which operating system you are using, then click save the file and save it to your desktop so you know where it is. Then just run the software before you plug in the web cam. During the install it will tell you when the program wants you to plug in the camera.
