SOURCE: does not brew a full pot of coffee

I had the same issue, poured in 8 and out came 6. Here's what I did to clean and fix.
1) Unplug the NHB
2) Remove accessories like the pot and basket
3) Bring NHB over to the sink
4) Snap off the entire top cover (not the swing lid) by starting at the front and lifting upward (the top cover is about 1/4" thick). The back of the top cover will pivot a bit and then pop off exposing the pour reservoir. Remove the flow stopper inside the pour reservoir by lifting it straight up.
5) Place the top cover and flow stopper aside.
6) Remove the brew diffuser (located underneath the top where the brew basket goes. Twist counterclockwise gently but forcefully enough to snap it past the lock tabs which hold it in place. You'll know that it you've done this correctly when it just falls out.
7) Still over the sink, tip the NHB in a fashion where the back side is facing upward and the brew side is facing down into the sink. You'll be holding the NHB horizontally by the top and bottom of the unit. This will allow any water in the tank to pour out the brew spout. Begin to tip the unit as if tipping upside down as this will allow any remaining water to drain out. If this does not work the brew spout hose may be clogged and you can just tip the unit entirely upside down to empty it from the fill hole in the pour reservoir.
8) Return the NHB to the upright position in the sink.
9) Using a scotch brite sponge and some baking soda, clean the inside of the pour reservoir and rinse.
10) Using the tool Bunn provided, clean out the brew spout hose which is located under the brew hat. This is the little hole where the water comes out. If you don't have the tool Bunn provided you could use something like a plastic tie-wrap. Don't use anything metal as the hose you're cleaning is made of plastic tube and could become punctured. Clean this hose for just a minute or two to ensure that there are no significant obstructions.
11) With the NHB upright in the sink, pour a slow stream of hot water from the faucet, about two cups, directly into the fill hole located in the pour reservoir.
12) Tip the unit horizontally, as in step 7, and place the tip of your finger over the pour reservoir fill hole covering it completely.
13) Shake the unit back and forth horizontally so the water in the tank splashes around and frees anything which may be built up in the tank. Some water may splash out of the brew spout hose.
14) Tip the unit as in step 7 to drain the tank water out.
15) Fill a 16 ounce glass with hot water and 2tbsp baking soda, mix and pour into the pour reservoir fill hole.
16) Repeat steps 13 and 14 once.
17) Repeat steps 11 through 14 three times.
18) Clean the pour reservoir cover, swing lid and flow stopper.
19) Put the flow stopper back in place.
20) Attach the top cover.
21) Clean the exterior of the NHB.
22) With the boil and warmer switches off, plug the NHB into the electrical outlet.
23) Turn the boil and warmer plate switches on.
24) Fill the NHB with one pot of cold water and close the swing lid. Wait one minute.
25) Fill the NHB with another pot of cold water. Place the pot on the warmer plate and close the swing lid. If water does not yet come out, fill with one more pot of water.
26) Allow water to drain from brew spout until it stops draining.
27) Empty pot.
28) Fill pot to 10 cup line and pour into the NHB. You should find that the NHB now delivers 10 cups back to the pot. Empty the pot.
29) Clean brew spout diffuser and replace back in the brew hat.
30) Clean the pot, pot lid and brew basket.
31) Wait ten minutes for the water in the tank to boil.
32) Brew your coffee as you normally would.

The only issue I experienced during this process was with the warmer plate switch. It appeared that the light in the switch blew although the warmer plate still warmed normally. Shortly after the water in the tank started boiling the warmer switch light started operating again.

SOURCE: Inconsistent water amount being dispensed

It sounds like there is some build up in the brew line, find the nearest bunn dealer and get a delimming spring, then remove the shower and run spring through brew line.

SOURCE: pumping more water out than what i put in

This coffee maker uses a resevoir tank system - the water you pour in pushes out water that is already heated - the water you pour in won't actually be used for that pot of coffee! For that reason you should only use full pitchers when filling. You may need to cycle through 2 or 3 fillings before the input matches the output once more. The capacity of the resevoir is about 3 pitchers; you can brew 2 pots in a row before the machine needs a break to bring the resevoir back up to temperature.

How to activate a 10 cup bunn coffee brewer model nhb?

I don't understand the question, but here is a try.
1 - put in two pots of water.
2 - put in third pot, the water should start coming out
Allow the water to heat (thirty minutes) then put coffee in filter housing, put in one pot of water, put empty pot on warmer, close lid, wait for brew cycle, enjoy coffee.

Hi guys I have saeco idea and it says maintenance caf any got idea what that is , thanks.

It probably needs a cleaning. Run 1 pot of white vinegar through it just like where you fill it with water. But do not use any water. Then run 2 full pots of water through it to clean out the vinegar. Warning do put cold water into a hot glass pot or it could break. If it has a filter for the water, change it with a new one.

I have exactly the same as you, to use the egg poacher

2. wipe outside portion of inner pot, put inner pot into unit, turn it slightly from left to right to ensure the pot and the heating plate has a good contact
3. connect electrical cord and press switch to start cooking
4. let the water boil
5. break each egg into the hole of the poacher
6. put the egg poacher on top of the inner pot
7. cover the unit
8. cook for 3 to 5 minutes

this is what it says in the manual I hope it helps

The water isn't fully coming out when brewing a cup of coffee and won't fill the cup. I am maybe getting 1/4 cup of coffee

Hello,

what you will have to do to solve this problem is that you will have to do self cleaning on the coffee maker

however, (not the bathroom one) is a handy item to use to clean coffee residue off the inside of a glass coffee carafe.
  • Does your pot have hard to reach areas? Use a wooden chopstick with a paper towel to get in there.
  • You can put ice cubes and a little water(enough so you can swirl it around) in pot and swirl them around, for harder stains put some table salt in pot and swirl it around for a few minutes and then rinse.
  • Put a glass marble in the water chamber to attract mineral deposits from hard water. Wash it once a week.
  • For tough stains, scrub the pot using a paper towel or clean (not soapy) dish towel. Rinse thoroughly.
  • To clean just the pot, do what many restaurants do. Put about two cups of ice, 1/4 cup of rock or table salt, and 1/4 cup of lemon juice (bottled or fresh is fine) and swirl around the pot. Measurements are not that important, just guesstimate. Be sure that the pot is cold before you try this, or you may break the glass pot.
  • Clean a brand new coffee pot prior to using it for the first time.
  • Never use the coffee pot to pour water into the reservoir. This will transfer oils and impurities from the pot, and eventually give the coffee a nasty taste. Instead, use a pitcher that is reserved for water only.
  • To keep the inside area around basket, filter, lid area clean (from coffee ground spatter) simply place a SECOND filter over the top of the grounds in the FIRST filter. Push second filter down so that spout will clear top of second filter (on many makes of coffee makers) as lid is closed. This keeps interior in pristine condition and doesn't take much time or expense.

Clean the pot by brewing a full pot of undiluted vinegar, then rinsing it by brewing 2 full pots of water through it. Also, change the charcoal filter on a regular basis. We clean the pot this way every month and replace the filter every 2 months.

White glass cooktop hard to clean

First thing I thought of was that your pots have oil or build-up of some kind on the bottom. Try cleaning them with a solvent of some kind. As an experiment, try using a pyrex pot to see if that makes a difference. As for cleaning the cook top, I use a vinegar and water solution with a soft cloth or very low abrasive scrubber as you can scratch the glass quite easily on some kinds.
