My set runs fine for 15 minutes, Then kicks of & has the blinking green light while it resets. You can turn it on again & get another 15 minutes. Over & over, Then it may work fine for 6 hours. Seems to be worse when cold. And the problem has been more frequent with months. So I replaced the 7 Elec. Caps on the DM board. They weren't bulging & looked fine, But I put in 7 new ones. Did not improve at all. Same problem, Same time, 15 minutes. While in there I looked at everything. Nothing bulging, burn't, or visual. Something is going bad & causing a over load that triggers a shut down & reset. Any Help or Ideas PLEASE ! Any possible parts that I can try that might have done the same for you. I can solder in parts, But don't know what to try with it being so erratic. Also, does anyone have a service manual with wiring diagram. OR should I just try buying used boards off EBAY & try replacements. I really want to keep this monster in the living room. I've grown accustomed to her face. And the wife likes to pile nick-nacks on top. There should be lots of these replaced with flat screens by now. When it works, The picture is perfect, sometimes all day long.

I Can Assure You That This Problem Is Associated With 2 Capicators On The Power Supply Board.

Please study the procedure at the following address.....
www.chrisandnat.com/projects/blinkingtv/blink.htm .....
use 1000mf 25v or 35v 105 degree capacitors to replace
original four 1000mf 16v..............if new ones are a little
too high, just lay them over on board........
Look it over..........let me know......................T.

Please let me know if you can get any sound at all out of your unit.
I had a similar problem. I had a 52"
RCArear projection tv. It
would do this when I initially turned on the television, but then after a few
"on/off, on/off, on/off" cycles it would stay on. Eventually it
started doing it more; until finally there was a spark and that was it. The tv
was dead. The bloggers called it "the blinking green light of death" (because
of green light on the panel). The
power board is going out.ALSO holding down the Input and Menu buttons afterward will give you
some diagnostic information via 2 sets of blinking indicator lights. You may very well
have issues with capacitors on this set being that it is or very similar to the
V26 chassis. Since I have spare test lamps laying around, I would normally try
that first. If the lamp still would not stay lit, I would then suspect the
electrical chassis (capacitors). When I suspect the chassis, I can usually
verify it by pulling it out and partially disassemble it and find blown capacitors
solution
I had that problem just last week, you need to order a new lamp through mitsubishi they cost about $100 you can install it it is easy

I tried the 7 DM 1000uf caps. That didn't change a thing. Keeps resetting every 10~20 minutes w/ blinking green, Then it seems to warm up & runs perfect for hours no problems. None of any caps looked bulged. ERRATIC. ANY IDEAS ??
