New camera. New sd card even tried an old one. Did set up by the book. Will not take pics bot is showing green light

Occasionally the card port will get trashy. Try using a can of pressurized electronics equipment spray to blow out the port. I never tried a brush but if you had one small enough (use no metal brush) you could try that followed by blowing it out. It has worked for me a couple times.

Had the same problem, blew out the card slot with air and fixed it. Apparently poor contact points with the card.

SOURCE: moultrie DGW-100 won't read sd card

check small switch on side of SD card; should be pushed toward contacts.Using the USB cable provided with cam, PC SHOULD RECOGNIZE DEVICE...might have to go thru windows explorer to find it, then use windows media player, or other, to open.
You are running 98 or later, right?

I have the same issue . . . tried new card, older card, 4 different cards, turned off camera, took out battery. I'm bummed.

SOURCE: I have a brand new I-35 Moultrie Dame Spy digital camera. It won't recognize any SD card. I've tryed a couple. Other camera (dual pack) had no problems.

Hopefully you have the receipt...take it back. An issue with this camera.
