Does the red light blink or stay on sterady?
Issue: The Compact Photo printer power button is blinking red.
Solution: Turn the Compact Photo printer off, then back on again.
"Paper Jam" appears on the digital camera LCD
Turn the printer off and disconnect the power cord from the printer. Then reconnect the power cord and power on the printer. If the printer fails to eject the paper, the printer may require service. Contact the Canon Customer Support help desk for assistance.
When you power down I would recommend also unplugging the printer from the power supply (wall outlet). Let it rest 5 - 10 minutes and then plug back in.
The manual says a blinking red power light indicates a problem in the printer, but the only solution provided it to turn off and on.
If there are no paper jams, and no other error messages hoepfully a completr power down will clear the error.
Issue: Printer's power button lights red without the camera's LCD monitor displaying any error message.
There is a malfunction in the printer.
Remove the paper from the paper-handling slot and take up any slack in the ink sheet. Turn the printe's power off and turn it on again.
If none of this helps I would check to see if my driver is current:
