Akai 4000ds -left channel pegs when turned on.

These 4000 decks are notorious for bad transistors and you are describing a capacitor that has gone leaky. So it can be either of those conditions. There is no easy fix a Technician will have to work on it to get rid of the problem otherwise it will just get worse. All these older machines had capacitors that are at the end of their lives. Too many years on them. The slide switches in them also need cleaning with Caig Deoxit. Other contact cleaners are not as effective.

3. Take out all the paper and then place the tray back in.
4. Turn the machine on and let it try to print without paper.
5. When the light comes on add paper hit the button and you should be good to go.

When i hit "print" the

Does the red light blink or stay on sterady?

Issue: The Compact Photo printer power button is blinking red.

Solution: Turn the Compact Photo printer off, then back on again.

"Paper Jam" appears on the digital camera LCD Turn the printer off and disconnect the power cord from the printer. Then reconnect the power cord and power on the printer. If the printer fails to eject the paper, the printer may require service. Contact the Canon Customer Support help desk for assistance.

When you power down I would recommend also unplugging the printer from the power supply (wall outlet). Let it rest 5 - 10 minutes and then plug back in.

The manual says a blinking red power light indicates a problem in the printer, but the only solution provided it to turn off and on.

If there are no paper jams, and no other error messages hoepfully a completr power down will clear the error.

Issue: Printer's power button lights red without the camera's LCD monitor displaying any error message.

There is a malfunction in the printer.

Remove the paper from the paper-handling slot and take up any slack in the ink sheet. Turn the printe's power off and turn it on again.

If none of this helps I would check to see if my driver is current:

My konica copier 7020 is displaying an error code F-35-1. What does it mean and can I fix it myself?

First will require to power off the machine then holding down the 2 and 5 buttton turn on the macine your in 25 Mode go to soft switch setting, punch in 3 then 1 set the bit to 1 to 0 or 0 to 1. return to fist screen power off machine wait 10 secs then on again. the Code is indicating that the Fuser/Fixing unit is not getting hot enough if the code comes back do not reset but have a technician come look at the machine. The Fuser is the Hot Section (Which fuses the toner to the paper so it will not smear when it come out the machine) It gets very hot you lamp/thermosat, or themistors may gone. So get a tech to look at it.

    F10 error code for a toshiba e-studio 28

Your HDD is having issues. You can try formatting the HDD (make sure you backup templates and address book if you use them.) To format HDD hold 0 and 8 while turning on the copier, when the machine comes ready key in 690 and hit start. It will then display "2 2", hit start again. Wait for it to say please reboot the machine, turn it off and back on. Hopefully this will work but if not, your HDD will need replacing.

HP Color LaserJet 8550DN input device failure, check cables and cycle power | error code: 66.01.02

This error message indicates a lifter malfunction has occurred. When the 2000-sheet input tray (Tray 4) is closed, the paper deck lifts the paper stack until it is just below the feed rollers. Photosensor flag PS34, the paper surface photosensor, determines when the paper stack is lifted into the feed position. When PS34 does not detect paper in the expected time, the printer reports a 66 error. SOLUTION: Follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
    1. Turn the printer off, open and close the tray, then turn the printer back on to see if the error clears.
    2. Open the drawer and check for extra paper or items stored on the left side of the tray. This will prevent the tray from lifting due to excess weight or blocking the lift of the tray.
    3. Remove all the paper from the tray. Remove the tray guides and reseat them. Verify the guides are not bent or broken.
    4. Lift the paper deck manually to verify there are no obstructions in the path.
    5. Pull the tray out as far as possible and observe the white bushing on the back right side of the tray. If the white bushing is broken, the tray will not lift properly.

I have a emachines t6410 pc and a 15 inch led monitor that came with it. It is apx. 5 yrs old. Am having issue with monitor turning on. If computer sits for a long period (a few hours) without being used...

There are two forces involved, one is the monitor itself and the other is a display property. To turn back on press space bar, and that will reactivate.

Your description sounds like your machine may be sleeping or hibernating, these are power options in the control panel...

Some versions of XP did not function very well, like sleep (meaning wake up takes really long time). Adjust those settings and your system should cooperate better.

IF you knew that your machine would take a long time to get going again, and that was normal, would that be okay? To test, press space bar and WAIT, a really long time, I would expect unit to come live, on it's own, eventually....

Amazing our need for speed, eh?
