Why im unable to send multimedia messages on nokia e5 cell phone, i can send regular text messages with no trouble at all,but when i try to send a multimedia messages ,the message will go to my outbox

This is a common problem. But there is a solution for this problem.
go to Messaging. Then hit Options. Scroll down to settings.
Hit text message. Options - Then "Message Centres".
Hit the Edit button and the following number should come up:

+47973100973
Save it and try sending messages. If again the same problem exist then call up your customer care who provides the services of your phone like Airtel, Reliance etc.. Ask the message center number and follow the above steps and save that service center number. Hopefully it should work. Thank you......

All you have to do is go to your message setting on your phone:
1. Open Messaging
2. On New message sellect options at bottom
3. Open settings
4. Open Text message, you should see: Message centre, message centre in use ect..
5. Open message centres this should go to next screen then open again, this screen should have : Message centre name & Message centre number (from your network provider you need to find out what is the message centres name & number are e.g in Australia it should be SMSC1 and number is +61411990001) then just manually enter these in there.

Hey i had the same problem and found out how to fix it. If it sais "Invalid Multimedia settings. Check settings" then you have to follow these steps:
1. Go to message settings under messages at the main menu
2. Click Text messages
3. Go to Message center in use and select SMS settings

This is how i fixed my problem which was the same as alyluvsskitt's

I am unable to see new messages on my nokia 5230 until i go into the message center manually. How can i correct the settings so i will have an indicator to inform of new message

Do a hard reset. Its very simple just press *#7370#.
Then it requests for the security key which is 12345 by default or enter your security code if you have changed the security code..
Please note that all the data on your phone will be deleted so kindly make a back up.
