Make sure the lever that disengages the motor from the wheels is in the engaged position. If it beeps a certain number of times then stops for a few seconds and then starts up again, count the number of beeps. That is a trouble code. You will need the owner's manual to determine what the code means by the number of beeps.

My shop rider chameleon scooter just beeps when I turn it on but it won't move the battery shows its fully charged

hi, is there a number of beeps then a pause ?

Make sure the throttle is dead centre when you turn it on, it means the throttle (wig wag )_ has got to be recalibrated
Look at the slot on the throttle stem, it should be dead centre to you ,when sitting on the scooter if not that 's the fault ..

Check the micro-switch on the brake to make sure it 's working correctly...

Gogo elitescooter lights indicate battery fully charged but scooter will not go

Make sure the free-wheel lever is engaged and the charger is unplugged from the scooter before you try to turn the scooter on. If the battery gauge goes up when you turn the scooter on and there are no beeping sounds you should be good to go.If the battery gauge drops to the red when you try to accelerate slowly, your batteries are shot. (Typical replacement in 24-48 months). If there is any beeping when the key is first turned on then there is a problem and the number of beeps indicates the problem found by the computer during the POST. We have a Fortress Scientific 2000 electric scooter that hasn't been used for several years. We put in new batteries, it shows fully charged, comes on and has a steady beep, but won't go forward or...

Your break release shifter is in the push the scooter mode. Put it back in gear and the horn doesn' beep and it should run..
The horn beeping is the alarm to tell you the break release is on.

It is usually located under the seat on the body of the top of the battery housing. Looks like a stick with a ball on it.

Shop rider sovereign voltage indication. Brand new fully charged

hi Richard,

Does the scooter actually lose power after the 3 leds show ?

If it is losing power then a suggest to try some other batteries to confirm dodgy batteries, check the terminal connections etc.

If it does not lose power then the volt meter is at fault, if you can check the voltage before riding then after it shows only 3 leds , if there is a big drop, check the charger first to make sure the batteries are getting fully charged.

Too slow how do I speed it up , a Pihsiang shop rider delux

hi, have you tried another charger as this sometimes can lead to batteries not 100% fully charged , I think the scooter in question is 6mph , check battery leads are a good connection and make sure the speed variable pot on the control panel is working correctly , is the speed pot working correctly (Wig wam) , try moving the lever in a upwards motion while moving forward , does it speed up ? if so it needs replacing.
