We have an Imperia 220 electric machine which was dropped. When we feed a pasta sheet thru the roller, the sheet is pulled to the right ane wrinkles the pasta sheet instead of coming thru the straight and smooth. You can not see anything wrong with the machine with the naked eye, but it appears the roller maybe slightly bent. When we run the rolled sheet thru the cutter, it also wrinkles the pasta and fequently jams. Could the drive shafts whick operate the roller and cutter be bent and causing our problem?? I would doubt that it's the electrical cord or plug, (though anything is possible.). I don't know this machine that well. It's possible that the switch is bad, but more likely I would think that it might be a fuse inside the machine.

Did it stop working while making pasta? Or was it working fine the last time, you put it away, brought it back out and now it's dead? Or is it a machine you bought new and it's DOA?

If it was overworked, it may have overheated and blew a fuse inside to protect the motor or other parts from burning up.

You might want to bring it to a local appliance repair shop that can take it apart to test things out to see were the disconnect is.

The machine comes apart easily. Once you take it apart, turn the machine upside down and see if the dried dough is visible in the vent holes. If it is pick it out with a toothpick, if not you will have to let them be.

I use a toothpick and toothbrush which is gentle and will not damage the plates and you can poke the toothpick through the holes.

Just attach the pasta machine to your countertop, table or cutting board with the clamp.  Put the crank in the hole.  The pasta goes inbetween the rollers of course and turn the crank.  Start with the rollers furthest apart or the biggest number and roll the dough twice on each number.  There are videos to watch on my website:

The dough needs to be just right. It is sometimes difficult to get it started and the first couple of times through the machine the dough will be uneven and maybe break apart. Just put it through again and as the gluten develops from the handling, it will smooth out and be more workable.
