All my lights are lit up on radio and it won't come on what's wrong with it

It depends on what's wrong with it . Does your vehicle have any other buttons on the steering wheel ? cruise control , radio control etc... Is the air bag light lit on the instrument cluster ? A common part that fails in all make an model vehicles is the clock spring . It's located under the steering wheel on top of the steering column . If any other buttons on the steering wheel aren't working an the air bag light is lit more then likely the clock spring is bad .Watch this video . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMbGhxdXrUc

Testing electrical circuits are required to find the problem .

use a scan tool to reset the ECM first as the CPU program in the ECM may be corrupted from the battery change

Check wiring and see if power source is to wrong lead, usually the constant power wire would be wired to the clock or auto antenna. The poer source for turning the radio on should be wired to the power source that is tied to the ignition, so when you turn your key off the power will be off as well.

I would check your starter relay.

Must not have been much of a mechanic. If the engine runs and sounds fine sometimes and other times it doesn't then it does not sound like a mechanical problem with the engine. Sounds more like a issue with either the ignition system or fuel system.

Do courtesy lights come on and go off when you open and then close the drivers door?

if courtesy lights work as expected then the BCM is communicating properly with the door control module, i.e. it knows the door was opened and closed, so likely the problem is between the the BCM and the radio (low speed comm bus) or the radio itself.

A scanner capable of presenting the BCM, door control module, and radio states will likely be required to determine the fault location.

is the CEL/MIL indicator lit?

Reads like it might possibly be a poorly connected steering column harness connector, intermittent computer connection on one of the harnesses or other including connector damage from someone in the past that got frustrated while making a large connector "fit", causing pin damage and not quite locked harness connector.
Also, after so much time, cleaning of the throttle body opening is in order just in case you are dealing with an electrical problem, as well as a separate hard start issue. Cleaning the throttle body opening makes a big difference in general hard starts that clear when the accelerator is tapped with the key in the run position with the engine not yet started.

A good trusted garage or good dealership is going to be in order for this one.

You will have to have the Vehicle Theft reprogrammed at your local dealership. I run into this problem from time to time at my dealership.
