With some loads even very light ones the dryer stops and must be rest every 5 min or so

This is usually caused by a thermal fuse. There are several through out the dryer to ensure it doesn't overheat/cause a fire/damage clothes/ damage parts. Some are a one time fuse and requires repair to get it working again. Since it does come back on after a few minutes, it is probably the thermal breaker on the exhaust line out of the dryer and can usually be fixed by a thorough cleaning of the lint trap to the exhaust ouput, usually outdoors. If this doesn't work, a partial disassemble and deep cleaning of heating elements, squirrel cage, motor etc. I can seem intimidating but not too hard if you take pictures as you disassemble. Don't forget to disconnect the power/turn off the gas.

What might be wrong with my gallery dryer #gleq2152eso it does not heat?

Hi friend, I appreciate your post!

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire dryer, GLEQ2152ES0, is no longer heating. I understand that you heard a noise like pennies hitting the drum and then it stopped heating. Some possible reasons to why your dryer is not heating could be that your vent is restricted, an issue with your thermostat, or heating element. I would recommend having a technician come out to diagnose and repair your appliance because with the noise you heard he may need to disassemble the dryer. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

My KF 180, Type 3115 Braun Coffee Maker stopped working, no heat, no purking but red light is on. I'm trying to open the bottom cover, have removed the centre screw but still can't get past the clips. I...

I have the same problem and even though I was able to disassemble the unit + get to the heating element, I fear I won't ever find a replacement part. Element is def bad; checked w/ohm meter across element - OPEN.
Like everything else we buy, coffee makers are throwaways when they fail so no one sells repair parts.

My Maytag Neptune MDG5500AW Gas Dryer heats up for a few minutes then stops heating. any ideas? thanks!

This is usually the dryer coils have failed. They tend to fail as they heat up. They are inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a video on replacing the dryer coils.
You will also find videos of disassembling most style dryers at the same site.

My rowenta effective will not heat up.

This is a problem with a lot of Rowenta irons. It is the auto shut off that is not working properly and the only way to fix it is to have it disassembled and the switch hardwired to be on whenever the iron it plugged in. It is a thermal metal switch and it just stops working and then the iron will not turn on and the yellow light blinks.

Won't heat

Generally, the most common causes of a failure to heat are:

- bad door switches or door switch mounts
- loose connection at the magnetron
- problem or loose connection on the control unit circuit board
- bad magnetron or other high voltage part (such as a shorted diode)

No heat out of dryer

These units usually have a disk thermostat near the heater coils that snaps open when the unit overheats. Only way to know is to disassemble it usually but you may be lucky and the switch is accessible from the rear. It's a bimetallic switch and available at any repair shop.
