When it's time to replace your WW scale batteries, the screen on your scale will display the word Lo. To replace the batteries, flip the scale over and look for the battery compartment located on the bottom side. Remove the small screw that secures the compartment cover. It is a Phillips head or flat head screw.

Go to the companies website. Many companies like Fisher Price offer replacement parts quite reasonably. Just put in the model number or name in the search bar on the companies site. If the parts are discontinued, the best place to look for replacements is ebay or craigslist. Best Wishes!

Below is the procedure for an Aston Martin Vantage, perhaps the vanquish is similar?

Removal
1. Power the driver's fully forward.
2. Remove rear compartment cover.
3. Loosen and disconnect battery terminals, earth (- ve)
terminal first.
4. Release rear carpet, studs (x2), move carpet aside.
5. Remove screws (x2), battery compartment cover to
support rail.
6. Remove nuts (x2), battery compartment cover to body.
Remove cover.
7. Remove Torx screws (x4), remove battery clamps (x2).
8. Disconnect battery vent tube.
9. With assistance, remove battery.
Installation
1. Clean battery tray and clamps.
2. With assistance, install battery into its compartment.
3. Connect battery vent tube.
4. Position battery clamps (x2), install and torque tighten
Torx screws (x4).
5. Ensure battery vent tube is not distorted by battery.
6. Install battery terminals, tighten terminal nuts to correct
torque.
7. Install battery compartment cover, install and tighten
screws (x2) and nuts (x2).
8. Position rear carpet, secure with studs.
9. Install rear compartment cover.
10. Reposition driver's seat.

If you look at the back of the phone you will find the back cover with some sort of rough surface. this is the cover of battery compartment. Push the back cover from the top of the phone, and remove it. If your phone is brand new. then insert the sim card first, before putting the battery. Now place the battery in the battery compartment making sure that the terminals on the battery are aligned with that of the phone. Replace the cover. Charge the battery.

The whole top cover which is the part that you stand on (loading platform) comes off. Turn the scales upside down, pull the sides of the plastic cover to unclip the catches and the body can be removed from the cover. Remove the screws to the displlay and there will be a battery compartment underneath the display. Remove the cover to the battery compartment and make note of the battery orientation. Replace the battery in the correct orientation or you will destroy the scales. Repace the battery cover. Scew the display to the body. Press the cover on the body with the display showing through the window.

I found that it works better to push exit three times from the map view.
