this has a problem with power supply section.
when you LCD TV wont start , even if you press the power button , it has a power supply failure, maybe some capacitor ha bloated or change the value, try to watch this http://www.youtube.com if you know how to solder, or even disassemble the back of LCD TV. if not try to call a repair technician. thanks ,, hope this help.........

Samsung LA32A450 LCD TV wont power up or no power on lights that indicated that no power line.
First of all, check the power line, cable AC cord is it installed properly, change ac cord if necessary. If you experience with electrical tool such as Volt meter, try it to measure the ac voltage from power line.
Or open your rear cover of unit, there are 2 board with difference color brown PCB (IP Board) and Greend PCB (main board). Check fuse on power board, if broken that may cause your problem. Change with the same type as labeled on it. But becareful, if after you change and try plug the power line in than broken again, thats mean power board have sort circuit.
My suggestions, try steps above and if it file, change power PCB block. You can buy it on Samsung cervice center.

hi in a dark room shine a flashlight on the screen see if you see an image, if you can then you may inverter/ power board problem, if you can't you may have mainboard or tcon board problem thanks

Philips 52PFL7422D/37 TV is $2200 piece of junk... cant believe it wont work (no picture no sound) after just over 2yrs... I use to get picture and sound when i played around with the on/off switch...

Yes,it is the power supply board problems.The power supply board,that board where the power a/c cord plug into it.U have all the tools,know basic eletronic and basic soldering?Yes,check the power supply board for those dying parts call capacitors.These capacitors that are dying,it alway will bulges up or puffing up on it tops.By checking the power supply boad and replaced all these dying capacitors,will solved ur tv powering up problems.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

change the electrolytic caps on the power supply board use 105 degree and higher voltage working caps if you can fit them on the board its a common problem the power supply is the overworked part of most tv,s etc

Sony Projection TV 60 XBR, wont turn on, blinking green light

This sounds like when the power came back on a surge went into your tv and burnt out the TVs main power supply or possibly burn out the flyback power converter on the TV main board!
(I am pretty sure it is either one of these things!)
