When you think that there is less light or whn you are taking a picture indoors or during night times under auto then reduce the ISO acordingly like if the lighting is of the indoor lighting then you can place the ISO at 80-200

if outdoor and during night time 80 or below and so on depending on the light conditions

the lower the light the lower the ISO
this would increase the shutter time though improving exposure quality

happy clicking

Fuji film camera finepx ax560 dark screen one corner show a yellow camera

The only error I can think of, is there is a great risk of blurring your picture, because a long shutter time is chosen. But that is very strange when you have enough light. Try to make a picture in the auto exposure mode. If the hello camera comes back I'm baffled like you I guess.
I have to admit I can't find a manual of this camera.

How do i set my camera to date stamp the pictures. I have a Fuji Finepix S1000

The camera doesn't put the date onto the picture, but it does put the information into the file. You can choose to have it appear when you print the picture. If you're printing from the camera, please refer to the "Printing Pictures via USB" section in the manual (page 57 in my copy). If you're printing from the computer, please refer to the documentation for that program.

You need to press the shutter button half-way and allow the camera to lock in the focus before you press the rest of the way. This eliminates "shutter lag".

try pressing the f button next to the LCD then going to the second option down -that is where you can change your ISO -and either increace your ISO when there is less light, or set your ISO on auto, and have the rest of the camera on auto too

Camera freezes after taking picture

I had this problem with my s1000 Fujifilm, but solved it by changing the standard SD card for a SDHC class 4 card. It no longer freezes when a flash is used! I've tried a 4Gb and a 16 GB SDHC class 4 card and both are fine.
