Where would I get my Vivicam 5386 fix? The metal piece that's on the battery door is broke and I can not connec t to battery.

No, the 5386 does not record any audio.

The ViviCam 5386 does not record any sound to go with its videos. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.

SYMPTOM =
Camera suddenly powers down.

POSSIBLE CAUSES =
* The function of POWER OFF in (Setup) mode has been activated.
* The battery has run out.

SOLUTIONS / CORRECTIVE ACTIONS =
*Set the option of POWER OFF to OFF.
*Turn the power back on or charge the battery.

The LCD Monitor Brightness has a range of -5 to +5.

Rotate the mode dial to Setup. Turn on your camera.
Go into the Setup Menu, then Custom, then select LCD Brightness. Make adjustments as needed.

Buy a portable card reader. Insert in USB port. Insert your card and download. You don't need a cable then.I just bought one for $10.49 with a $6 rebate from Radio Shack.
