T Con Board or a panel problem? Can this be fixed?

T Con Board or a panel problem? My Samsung LED TV (UN50EH6000FXZA) all of a sudden has gone dim. Three fourths of the screen is dim and the video to the dim side lags. For instance, if the video shows someone running across the screen, that figure appears over and over again until it catches up with the actual video (I hope that makes sense). The other one fourth of the tv looks normal and is bright and vibrant. I have sound and all of the menus work fine. Help please!

With most models LED LCD TV of Samsung brand have T'Con board is a built in panel type. If so; it is not replaceable. Panel replacement is necessary, if this is the case.

Let's say that the T'con board could be replaced... Would replacing the T'con board fix this problem? In other words, is this an obvious T'con problem?

Samsung UN50M5300AFXZA Dim Flashing Screen

It's not the main board, tcon board or panel, slim chance of it being the power board (5%), it's your LED backlights that have failed, new strips can be ordered from shopjimmy, I'd stay away from ebay for parts

I have a Samsung LED TV model number UN50EH6000FXZA and the screen flickers. I am trying to figure out what jumper number to cut. Please help!

It might be your "ISL9860" chip on the T-con board, the video was called, "Samsung UN60EH6000 Series T-Con Repair BN95-00628" and is located at:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuHrnvAKlGw

Yes it's a bit different model number but see if it is close enough to your TV to be useful. He says that models UN60EH6003 and 6050 were the same kind of fix for the no video problem so perhaps your UN50EH6000 is also close enough to the UN60EH6000 model.

He did not mention anything about a sound but it was a no video problem he was fixing. If your voltages are OK on the T-con board then you may want to contact him directly through youtube to see if he has fixed your type of problem. Otherwise this is the first part I'd replace.

Watch the video all the way through because he also mentions some caps that may need replacing as well.

Samsung un50eh6000fxza version nh02 the television started delaying several minutes before it would come on then quit completely. Which board do I replace.

hi so is it totally dead or is there a standby light.if not check fuse on the power board first, these led tvs do suffer from poor solder joints, i'd check solder connections any ring around the soldered pads,if ok you would need to do voltages checks to find out which board is failing, thanks

Lg 42" tv not displaying screen image

The t-con board controls the picture. To test it shine a flash light on the screen abd see if you can see an image when the TV is on. If you do then the T-con board is OK. Look at the back light ballast board (sometimes is part of the power supply board) If you see no movement or a dim picture with the flash light, then the T-con board is gone. Samsung TV

If you see a picture with the flashlight you can rule out the T-Con board. It's working. So the led driver board is the problem. TV Parts Universal TV Stands DLP Chips ShopJimmy Go here for replacement parts.

Samsung tv un50eh6000fxza...has standby power but some times takes several tries to start. When it starts led flashes 6 times. When it wont start led flashes 2 times after 15sec from pressing power.

This is usually caused by some tubular capacitors that have gone bad. You can tell visually by the fact that the bad ones have started to swell up. You can check the value for voltage and microfarads and buy replacements at Radio Shack or similar electronics store. While the microfarad capacity has to be the same, the voltage can be the same or higher.
