It sounds like the jack on the unit which you plug the high hat into is defective if it works on the other unit.

SOURCE: Roland Dp 2 Damper Pedal dont work

I'm 90% sure the pedal is shot ... It could be the switch ... Open the thing up (If your confident) and look to see if a wire has come loose ... If no wires are loose then try another working pedal with the keyboard.

If it still won't damp then there is a problem with your keyboard and I do not suggest opening up one of those ... I used to repair sockets and keys on those for a local boys school and there are full of things that can break if not opened properly,

My suggestion is getting someone in to repair the keyboard if its that ... If its the pedal then either get a new one if you don't want the old one repaired ... Or repair it yourself (pretty easy if its the wiring ... fiddly if its the switch but only attempt if your confident and have the proper tools).

SOURCE: Can't turn on Roland Fantom G8 keyboard. Tried

Check your power cord. Sometimes they break near one of the plug ends. Use an Ohmmeter to verify continuity.

No sound on a Roland model KR-4700. All 4 fuses inside are ok.

Do you have an owner's manual......first thing to try would be a factory reset...sometimes this will un-scramble the operating system and set it back to when it left the factory....contact Roland for an owner's manual if you don't have one....hopefully this helps..if not, then you will have to open it up.....

In my gr 33 the volume is very low. mistakenly i did a factory reset after that the volume is becomes very very low. Any solution for this problem?

There is probably both a global volume and individual program violume as well. One or both may have reset to a lower level and need to be turned up. It's also possible that the general output has a setting for line level or instrument level, which may be software controlled. Take a look through your manual to find these settings and adjust to suit.If all else fails, contact Roland Customer Service at this link for help.

Patch not saving, write button is not working from the day i bought.i bought is 2nd hand.plez help

If you buy a second hand, it may have been damaged in mini switch (tact switch) under the WRITE button. You need to replace the tact switch. Easy and inexpensive, you can do yourself, only with a little knowledge of soldering

You may also try the FACTORY RESET.
Restoring the GT-10 to the settings made at the factory is referred to as a "Factory Reset."
Not only can you return all of the settings to the values in effect when the GT-10 was shipped from the factory, you can also specify the range of settings to be reset.

If you do this"Factory Reset", all the setting on user memory (that you create) will be erased, so backup your setting before doing this steps.

Hi-hat is triggring sound while in the closed position. and splash can't be produced

Check the following on a VH-11 HiHat.... both cables connected correctly, top playing surface is clear of the inner ring on the lower sensor when in the fully up position, power the module OFF, keep sticks & foot well clear of the HiHat then power ON, finally check the calibration settings (I assume the 15 has that as my TD12 does) If still nogo check on the VDrums forum website....

Roland BOSS RC-20XL Loop Station will not record or play

If your Roland BOSS RC-20XL Loop Station will not record or play, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the power source: Make sure that the Loop Station is properly powered and that the batteries or power supply are providing sufficient power. If using batteries, try replacing them with fresh ones.
  2. Check the connections: Ensure that the input and output connections are properly connected and that there are no loose cables. Try using different cables to see if that resolves the issue.
  3. Check the settings: Make sure that the Loop Station is set to the correct mode and that the input level is set appropriately. Refer to the user manual for guidance.
  4. Reset the device: Try resetting the Loop Station to its factory settings. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to do this.
  5. Service: If none of the above steps work, the Loop Station may need to be serviced. Contact the manufacturer or a certified repair center for assistance.
Hopefully one of these steps will help you get your Roland BOSS RC-20XL Loop Station working again.
