HP L7680 power button and the OK button which clears error messages in the display is not working. Happened immediately after I cleared a paper jam. Machine was shut down for 24 hours to see if it would become functional again, but so far, no luck? Any ideas before I call a repair service? Thank you. Roz Harris [email protected] (518) 598-2419

Hi

sometimes the display of the printer might freeze up due to multiple reasonds like the network settings, some error message,
a partial reset might help you resolve some of the concerns as far as the freezing up is concerned but since it is a high end machine i would rather recommend you to perform the trubleshooting under supervision of some good technician.if
Thanks a& regards

Error Message - Paper Jam

I had a paper jam. I removed the offending sheet of paper which unfortunately tore into 4 pieces as it came out. Upon piecing the sheet of paper back together - there is a small piece missing. I've checked the printer thoroughly - nothing can be found!

2575 paper jam

This worked for me. If "Paper Jam" error message continues to appear after jam has been cleared, turn off power to printer. Navigate to Control Panel - Printers, right click on HP Photosmart 2570 series icon, click on Delete on drop down menu. This deletes printer from your system. Turn on power to printer. Printer will re-install (may need original installation disc, may not). "Paper Jam" error message should no longer appear.
