If the water pump is moving the coolant,then you may have a bad head gasket allowing combustion gas into the cooling system.Fill the cooling system right to the top and without the cap on watch for a constant flow of bubbles coming to the top.Bubbles?=bad head gasket or a crack.
You may have introduced air bubbles into your fuel lines. Try cranking while flooring the accelerator all the down. This will sometimes help move the air bubble through.
if your engine is TD27 turbo, replace you fuel fillter and replace with new one. fill up with your new fuel filter with your gas before installation. tighten if firmly, make sure no air/gas leak. then pump it manually. stop pumping until you fell that fuel line has no air inside or hard to pump/press.
Please make sure you have no leaks on the carburetor, if it has not been turned om for a long time, prime the engine for cold start. Here is how to do this.
Clug exhaust pipe while you crank it up.
Pump the bubble filled with gas closed to the carburator.
