I have cancelled many things on Amazon, but not a digital order. You should be able to go into your Amazon account and cancel that order. I don't know how they would even process a kindle book if you don't have a device.
How do you cancel an order on Amazon Kindle?
To return a Kindle book: Go to Manage Your Content and Devices. From Your Content, select the Actions button next to the title you want to return, and then select Return for Refund. In the pop-up window, select Return for Refund.
If you bought it through Amazon you can contact Customer Service and explain what happened; you will need the order number. Attached is a link to the Customer Support area for Amazon: Amazon com Help
