HOW TO INSTALL A BELT ON A OPTIMUS LAB-1100 FULLY AUTOMATIC TURNTABLE

See:

If you have difficulty lifting the platter off, raise it as far as you can and gently tap the spindle with a sift-faced hammer.

Connect optimus lab 1100 to macbook

The type of computer is not relevant. This turntable provides output at nominal "line level" and can be connected to your MacBook with a properly shielded audio cable through the audio input.

For best results, you might want to disable automatic-gain-control (AGC) in the "Sound" preferences pane in the "System Preferences" panel, and set the level manually such that the input does not overload.

As I mentioned above, the signal level is nominally "line level", and that can mean very different things depending on context. You might find that using a passive volume control (potentiometer) between the turntable and the computer's analog-to-digital converter can greatly improve the quality of sound.

My audio-technica PL50 plays 45s at the wrong speed.

believe it or not not it probably doesn`t even play your lp`s at the right speed? Its probably because your drive belt has actually stretched? rubber belts do wear and maybe seek out a replacement drive belt?

try this company?

Optimus lab 1100 Turntable won't turn!

The mechanics in your arm postion is throwing the switch. A mechanical postion switch has sliped out of postion, a arm from the toner arm post has moved to an encorrect postion, or if your turntable has a multi-album play abilty your 'next to play record' post postion sensor switch is out of postion. Last or first is your belt could fool ya. Your belt may have a weak spot on it in turn no friction underload.
