Try putting another additional video card in and hook up to it and see what happens

maybe your monitor something wrong buy new one..or try to unplug monitor cable and back it again

try it with VIVITAR may be they will do it free of cost it is considered a manufac fault thousands of cameras have faulty CCD chips who quit after some years of use

The LCD Monitor Brightness has a range of -5 to +5.

Rotate the mode dial to Setup. Turn on your camera.
Go into the Setup Menu, then Custom, then select LCD Brightness. Make adjustments as needed.

It sound like the USB jack has a broken connection inside your camera. You should be able to purchase a Card Reader and then just remove your memory chip from the camera and use the Card Reader to transfer your pictures to the computer. I doubt that you will find any one willing to take the camera apart and repair the jack. I have seen this happen with my Creative Labs MP3 Player. That was much more simpler to take apart than a camera. If you decide to go into your camera, you will need at least a double ought (0-0) or maybe a triple ought (0-0-0) phillilps screwdriver. I have this Panasonic PanaSync SL70 17'' monitor, I don't use it often. It is still in very great shape. However, I tried to turn it on yesterday, I got a black screen. The power LED is on and I can hear the relay is clicking when signal received. I tried to remove the signal cable, I can see it turns to power saving mode. It seems that everything works fine except no picture. I am if the transformer is gone, but not sure. I am wondering if you can help?

It seems to be an Inverter related problem in which backlight seems to be shiutting down.Is this monitor 3-4 years old???If so backlight of the panel could be an issue.
